we have a storm door but part of the door jamb broke off last winter (the part that the arm attaches to) and we can't figure out how to fix it/can't afford to pay someone to fix it so we are considering just leaving the storm door off this winter.
my question is do storm doors help insulate your house much? I've assumed they were just nice to have because you can open your regular door in winter and let light into the house, but am wondering if our heating bill is going to skyrocket if we don't figure out how to get it attached.
