Storing Scrapbook Supplies

I am new to the world of scrapbooking, and am a bit confused about what storage system I should use for my supplies. I was looking at the CropNStyle yesterday, as well as others, and I am also considering the one from Creative Memories. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I looked at the CM bags about 2 1/2 years ago when I started. I felt their bags fit their tools really well, but I didn't have any of their tools except the corner rounder.
I have a crop in style jr. which I really like. I take it on crops now. I used to store all of my stuff in it when I first started but there is NO WAY all my stuff would fit in it now!!:o I have a separate case just for paper. Plus I got into eyelets and the tools that requires...
I'm interested in one with wheels and would llike to know how people like theirs. Do the wheels hold up under alot of weight or do the fall off?

Anyway, I guess when I look at bags now I try to think what tools I have and what type of compartments I HAVE to have.

I have the CropNStyleXXL and love it! It hold all my tools, a binder of stickers and two binders of paper (all of which are so full they are ready to explode). And, there is room to put in the book I am working on. It makes it easy to just pull up the handle and go to a crop without worrying that I am forgetting something. My BF teases me that I could empty it out and pack a weeks worth of clothes in it when we travel.

The only issue is rough or soft ground. It tends to twist over if I am not paying attention. And, it is heavy to pick up and put in the car. That said, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I second the xxlarge crop in style! I love it! I initially started with the JR but quickly out grew it! So my word of advice is go big to start with! Make sure it has wheels! Paper weighs so much!

I use the Crop in Style XXL, and the Creative Memories little bag fits right on top.
I'm now looking a adding something for all the punches I seem to be getting. But they work great for me.

I have the navigator which is a little smaller than the XXL. My navigator holds a ton of stuff and it gets very heavy when it's full, there is no way I could cope with anything bigger, I wouldn't be able to move it!

I like my Navigator for crops, especially as I often fly to them (not many scrappers in the UK, so we have weekend long crops in London and I fly down, not as extravagant as it sounds).

I have to say though, that I don't like to work out of it at home, It has so many little pockets and compartments, that I can't find what I am looking for, so I empty it at home, and stash it away till my next trip.

Another option if you don't need to fly with your supplies, is the Zag toolbox, they do a couple of different ones that are excellent. The Scrappers in the UK seem to have adopted these as their national cropping tote of choice!

i don't know how much they are in the USA, but in the UK they are about £25 and a Navigator is usually over £100 so a big savings!

there is the big one, which looks like this (except my friend Jane has decorated hers)

this has a toolbox on top, 3 drawers and then a tilt bin which will hold 12x12 at the bottom

or there's a smaller one, which has a tool box, one spin out drawer and a very big box at the bottom which will hold a ton of 12x12 and albums (there is a tray in there which you need to remove to get the 12x12 in). Again, it's been decorated, the photo's were supplied by people showing off their newly decorated zags. (mine's naked, so no photo!) This one was done by my friend maryAnne.

I think these are sometimes sold under the brand name Stanley,

PS; Hmm, my images didn't work, but if you click on the links you should be able to see, let me know if not.
I've managed to add images to the plain boxes, but you will have to lick if you want to see the fab decorated ones, not sure why.

I have the Memory Mate Cart from CM, and I love it. I store almost everything I am working on in there. CM used to sell a much smaller bag that was similar to an attache case. It fit all of their supplies perfectly, but you couldn't put anything else in it. They now have the bigger Memory Mate Caryall which is WONDERFUL. It holds all their stuff, but it also holds so much more if you have other supplies. I really like it.

I have had the Crop in Style Jr. and I use it, but mainly to carry my Sizzix stuff in now.

And then theres the totally other direction ---- like me ----who only scraps at home.

Iris carts & iris drawer systems (found at Staples & similar at other stores.)
Stacking letter trays for storing paper.

I bought the ZAG at Walmart for $24 today!
Saving me a whopping $100 from the XXL I was looking at!
I LOVE IT
Thank you for the heads up! I can't wait to put my tool box together - and it goes well with my embellishment bucket!
