Storing Memory Sticks

When you have multiple memory sticks for your digital camera or camcorder, where and how do you keep them safe. For instance going around the parks, where do you carry extra memory sticks?

Ratpack--all of my Memory Sticks have also come with a small plastic sleeve that they fit into. I put the whole shebang (MS, and sleeve) into the front compartment of the camera bag. They are pretty resiliant anyway, I think as long as you don't use them to jimmy a lock, or file your nails you'll be fine!

I take one extra flash card with me, keep it in a little plastic case it came in when I bought it.

My camera bag has two little sleeves inside to hold an extra battery and compact flash card.

Thanks for the replies. I have the Sony camera case and it has a zippered pouch that I guess I can use. The memory stick that came with the camera has a plastic sleeve but I just ordered two Lexar memory sticks, I hope they come with the sleeves also.

My Lexar sticks didn't come with the sleeves. Best Buy has a case that holds up to 8 sticks. It looks like one of the old-fashioned metal cigarrette cases & is $19.99.

I bought a lil case thingie that holds 8 sticks/cf cards at I think it was best buy last NOV. Yepod has a similar one and I like his.

OK, I also bought Lexar and they did not come with plastic sleeves. I have the hard case but haven't opened it yet, because I really want to keep everything in the same camera case but the case is small and I don't think the hard case will fit in it. The camera case does have a zippered pouch that is lined fairly well, would they be safe in there with no cover?

DW usually forgets to put the sticks back in the case so they end up in a compartment like you are describing & while I wouldn't recommend it, they don't seem to have suffered any adverse affects from it.

I solved the issue. Someone on Ebay is selling a pack of 5 little plastic cases that hold one memory sticks for 3.99 so I bought a set.
