There used to be a REALLY long thread about pixie dust stories with hundreds of posts, anyone know what happened to it? I haven't been able to find it again.

In January we had breakfast one morning at Restaurantasaurus in AK and my DS4 had to use the little boys room right when Goofy came through. Try as he may to hurry he missed him. When he got to the table he was so upset, but the CM said wait just a minute, we'll catch Goofy. They came back about 10 minutes later, with Goofy! My son was SOOOOOO happy! And we were thrilled they went out of there way! Best part of the day! The other really cool thing I loved was everyday we got back to the hotel the mousekeeper had rearranged the pillows and the kids stuffed animals in the neatest ways. They loved it!

DS6 got lost at MK and me and DH had visions of him crying and hysterical. When we were reunited with him, he told us he was having such a great time with the CM who found him, and if we could come back for him later

Easter Sunday 2002 my DD Kelly's High School Marching Band had the honor of marching in the parade down Main Street. My then DH2B and I made the trip along with the band to seem them, but were not tagging along with DD in the park before "march time". We were in line for Pooh when my cellphone rang. A CM from Adventurland called to tell me that Kelly had a seizure and they were bringing her to first aid, and that I was to go there. Kelly had been having mild seizures for a little over a year and had been on medication to control them. What usually happens is her vision blurrs, she passes out, she is awake within minutes, but needs to sleep off the headache that usually follows.

Two hours later in First Aid, Kelly is awake and very upset because the parade is starting in half an hour and it is obvious that she is not going to be marching. In walks a CM with a wheelchair and a Mickey balloon asking for Kelly. Kelly was put in the wheelchair and we were escorted to Main Street where they had roped off a section just for us to watch the parade. Kelly was able to wave at her friends as they marched past, and got to talk to lots of other people watching the parade about what happened to her and the band. Even though she didn't get the thrill of playing in front of such a big crowd, she got a huge dose of Pixie Dust!

Our story is just a minor one by comparison, but it really made the visit for my DS, who was 2 at the time. Late in the afternoon at MK he spotted some kids with pirate swords and asked if he could have one, and we told him yes, but even though I checked every gift shop we walked past after that, I never saw them. I went to where I thought they might be, but they weren't, and the group wanted to move on to the other attractions instead of spending time looking. Finally it was nearly time for Wishes, and we still hadn't found a sword. I thought he had maybe forgotten, but then some people sat next to us with their grandson, and he had a sword, and my DS was just inconsolable -- he kept crying because we hadn't been able to find one. I asked the family for the name of the shop where they had found it, and DD and I set off -- in the dark, through the crowds -- to try to find it.

Well, as luck would have it, we got lost. (I could get lost anywhere, honestly, but having not been in the MK for 20 years until that day and then trying to find something after dark, I was pretty much hopeless.) We had forgotten the map back with the family, so I stopped in a gift shop and asked directions. They asked what item I was looking for, and DD started explaining how much her baby brother wanted a pirate sword, and that we had been looking for one all day and hadn't found them. The CM who was helping us started to give directions, then suddenly stopped and said, "Here, come with me." She led us a little way out of the shop and had us wait on a bench, and about 3 minutes later she returned with a sword for DS. I tried to pay her, but she refused, smiling and telling DD we'd better hurry back to our family and give the sword to her brother before the fireworks started! So we went running, hand in hand, back to the family, with Wishes just starting overhead, and DD laughing and oohing and aahing at the fireworks all the way. And the look on her brother's face when she presented him with the sword Even though we missed the beginning of Wishes, that entire experience was definitely one of the highlights of our trip

We were in Epcot on our first Disney trip. We couldn't decide what we should do...leave and go to MK for wishes..or stay and see more of Epcot. The boys were wanting to go on a ride. We got to Malestrom and the wait was really long and the fastpass return time was really late. We sat down to discuss what we should do. DH and I started to get irritated with each other. Out of Malestrom come two Norwegian CMs with the viking hats on. They came right up to us and asked us if we were going to ride. I explained that we didn't think so because the line was so long. They said, "come with us"and took us to the front of the line!!! DS4 started to get nervous. They put a viking hat on him and explained the ride, etc and they rode with us! Now that was Pixie Dust!

On our last trip I sent my DH to get the stroller while I waited in line to have our backpack searched. The security gaurd looks in my backpack and points out the apple that DH had packed. "What have we here?" he said loudly. "An APPLE!" "And just WHAT do you plan to do with this APPLE?" "This wouldn't happen to be a POISON apple WOULD IT?" (Now everyone is staring at me) He then tells everyone to watch out for me and to not let me near Snow White!
It was a great way to start the day.

My daughter spent her 4th birthday at CRT for breakfast. It was her first time to WDW and we called earlier to order a cake. We had some issues reaching the correct department, and then when I called to confirm they had problems finding any info. Chef Wade personally called me to set up exactly what we wanted - anything in the world, he said. When we arrived, we fully expected to have to pay for the cake ($12, I think?). It was brought out at the end - whipped cream, strawberry filling, writing in chocolate, etc. We were never charged. Thanks, Wade. You made our first CRT experience so magical - and won the heart of my little girl for life.

Second experience was a bad Beaches & Cream event that ended in us driving through McDonald's for dinner after waiting well over 2 hours for a table and being ignored. A reservationist at WDW-DINE pulled some magical strings and got us a reservation at Chef Mickey's (sold out) breakfast the next morning!

DD got more special attention at MGM on her birthday - in the midst of the Stars and Motor Cars parade, Roly Poly Olie (a huge favorite here) came over to personally "wish" her a Happy Birthday and pay one-on-one attention to her. Very cool!

Finally, on Halloween night last year at MNSSHP Haunted Mansion was broken all evening. It was devastating to my daughter, and we went back by there a good dozen times to check on it (they didn't know if it would re-open or not, for hours). Being Halloween, and her favorite ride, we were all very sad. The next day, I asked DH to run into City Hall for something (maybe a birthday button - no - I don't know what it was). I ran the littler kids to the bathroom, but my oldest didn't have to go, so she went with Dad. While in there, she asked if Haunted Mansion was working again. They chatted her up a bit and she told them that she loved that ride, it was her favorite, etc. They gave her some sort of "VIP walk-on pass" that let her ride it right away without any wait. She may as well have been crowned Princess right there.

We had a lto of pixie dust during our trip in March 2006. First of all, we were in Ariel's grotto trying to decide if we were supposed to stand in line or go somewhere else. (1st time with GAC, dd5 is in wheelchair) While we were standing there, a CM saw us and asked if we were there to see Ariel. DD was so excited she was about to jump out of her skin. The CM took us to the exit & told us to wait just a minute. She took us in, and we got to spend as much time as DD wanted with Ariel all to herself!! She was sooooo excited, the grin is still on her face!!

The 2nd time was when we had dinne at 1900 PF with Cindy & the gang. I had told the CM when making the ressies that we were celebrating DD's b-day. When we got there, manager came up & asked DD if she would like to help in the opening ceremony. She did & when the doors opened, Cinderella was there & walked DD over to the table (she held he hand the whole time) and sat down & hugged her. They came back with a bag of "wishes" and a special certificate and an autographed placemat!! Not too mention that she got the BIGGEST cupcake I had ever seen!! It was a magical vacation!!!

We had a little pixie dust on our 1st trip to WDW in 2004. We had breakfast at CRT and the Fairy Godmother was in the lobby asking all the kids if anyone could tell her Sleeping Beauty's real name. Well my DD (5 at the time) was the only little girl who knew the answer and told her. So, we got our pictures with Fairy Godmother and got her autograph and went to breakfast. Here's the pixie dust part. . . Later that day for the parade, we had gotten our spots early and were in the front row watching when the float that has Fairy Godmother on the back side passes us by and all of a sudden we hear her calling out, "Brittany, hello Brittany"! She recognized and remembered my daughter's name from the morning. My DD thought that was awesome!!

Then, later that same day in MK we came across the Country Bears dancing in the street and my DS (only 1 at the time) wanted to get out of his stroller to see the bears, so we let him out and he starts dancing and the Bears notice him and pull him into the middle of the street with them and proceed to dance and dance with my little boy for about 10 minutes! It was so cute and magical!! We have pictures that I wish I knew how to post on here!

I wonder if it's the same FG that remembered my son? We ate at CRT one morning and later in the parade, she called out and said, "Oh, Zane! I remember you!" She ROCKS. I'm always disappointed when there is a "different" FG because this particular one is wonderful.

It seems DD4 leaves bathroom early, by herself, and when the rest of the girls show up downstairs, we are missing one daughter.

Just as we start to panic we turn to see DD4 walking down the castle stairs hand-in-hand with Belle, who happened to find this lost little girl. DD was smiling ear to ear.

Awww that is so cute! My story is from CRT too! I was in Disney in July 2005 and was celebrating my 20th birthday in CRT. The princesses there were Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, and Wendy. Well, Wendy recognized me! I had a nice conversation with her, and when I got a Magical Moments certificate signed by them all she personalized hers. I am eating there again this year for my 21st birthday and hope it is as wonderful as last time!

Last August, my dd(5), whose favorite ride was the haunted mansion; second favorite DINOSAUR (???) was completely fed up with meeting all the princesses. She had finally decided that ds(2) could meet the princesses while she waited nearby on a bench. Well, we walked into MGM and all of a sudden, she took off like a shot towards a character greeting area at the front of the park. Through the crowd, I saw her run right up to the Evil Queen and throw her arms around her waist. I caught up to them just as the Queen said "Hello Princess" to my dd, who looks every bit the princess part, down to the hairbows. She told the Queen to please not call her princess because she really likes the villains best. She told my daughter that she was very wise and asked her to be sure to come to the parade. During the villain part of the parade, she came up to my dd and said, "I told you I would be here" then she said "OH Cruella, you really must meet my friend Kelsey from NY, she prefers us villains!" Cruella came right over and they both hugged her. Of course I was too stupid to start up the camcorder, and when I finally go the regular camera going, all I was able to get was a picture of the Queen's butt. I don' t think Kelsey will ever forget that moment! I wonder if the cast members who sprinkle the dust are aware of just how much this kind of interaction means to a child! I hope so!

I got back from WDW on Sunday and then called on Wednesday to order tickets for MVMCP and you know how they always ask you when you were last there? Well the CM was obviously looking at my info because she started to ask that and then stopped and said, "It seems as though you just left!"
It doesn't come across as funny in writing but she really played it up and made me laugh.

We had been at MK for a very long day. MIL was enjoying a cigarette in the smoking area and DD13 & DS9 were really getting annoyed that we were just sitting. DD was eating popcorn and none of us was really paying attention to what was going on. All of a sudden a hook came over my DD's shoulder and grabbed some popcorn. you should have seen DD's face. I wish I would have had the camcorder. She almost jumped out of her skin. It really helped make the rest of the afternoon and evening lighter.

I have a couple...

When we were in the World of Disney store, DD, then 3, wanted a Snow White costume. We agreed and she insisted on putting it on on top of her clothes (it was February and COLD). While walking around the store, all the CM's made a big fuss. One took her hand and told her she was the princess for the day. They let her carry a wand around and took her to the display window with all the princess dresses at the front of the store. They got to go into the display window while we took her picture. They gave her a Princess of the Day certificate. It's still framed on her wall in her bedroom.

During the same trip, a CM in AK stopped us in the pathway and said he needed DD's help. He was opening his ice cream stand and asked her to talk on his walkie talkie to tell them that he was opening. Of course, she mumbled something incoherent into the cm's walkie talkie, but it was sooooo sweet. He let her pick out an ice cream bar for free for her help.
