Stopped Getting PINs?!?

For the past few years I've pretty consistently gotten PIN codes in both email AND snail mail. Maybe 2 a year or so. The last one I remember getting was late 2009, and I booked a 3 night stay for my birthday in Jan 2010. Nothing since!! We went just last month with free dining, but that wasn't a PIN. Does that sound pretty standard or does it sound like I'm off the list??

Yep. Same thing happened to me. I don't even get the Disney "HELLO" from Disney Destinations anymore.

I haven't gotten one in a while, but just got one today. Sadly, it's not good for the dates we're planning on going next year. I hope another one shows up in about 6 months or so!

Same with me. And we usually go a lot. I guess we are off the "mailing lists" now. Oh well. That prevents me from being lured into a trip.

We have been to WDW over 25 times in the last 10 years. I have registered online with over 5 different email addresses and have updated and logged in frequently. NEVER have I received a PIN via email or snail mail.

Consider yourselves lucky if you have received more than one.

I received a grand total of one PIN - for Disneyland during the holidays when I was already coming out to Florida.

Whats sad is that they stopped sending my [month] hello! emails as well; I've checked and yes they are in my addressbook and everything. Im not even worthy of spam!!

In Oct. 2007 I reserved and paid for a room for my Dad. He doesn't have email so I gave mine. I haven't received any pins from WDW in a long long time. Meanwhile my Dad gets them via my email every couple of months.

I stopped getting them too. I got 2 or 3 in 2008 after our April trip, and then I got a few more in 2009. Now I sporadically get my "hello". I did set up another acct. for my husband in June and by July he had 2 pins.

We've been every year except one in the last 7 years. I've never gotten a pin. I'm thinking that Disney must think we're a "sure thing" so why send a pin??? Our last trip was Feb of 2010 and we're not going again until Nov of 2011...maybe that'll be a long enough span to generate some pin action!

We went twice in 1998 ... and then kept getting pin postcards. The postcards even followed us to a new home. They stopped coming around 2002-2003. Haven't received one since.

I did book & pay for a room for my parents for one night stays in 2007 and 2008 ... and I keep getting pins to my email address in my Dad's name. It frustrates me b/c I want to use them!!!

We don't get them anymore either. I thought maybe it was because we joined DVC. I wish we would still get them since we still book packages once and a while.

Same here. I used to get them all the time both email and snail. I got the public free dining offer in the mail but haven't seen any pins for 2011. (When we actually want to go)

Maybe try requesting a planning DVD? I had heard that doing that can get you back on 'the list' so I ordered one earlier this year. I got at least 4 PINs between then and when we booked our trip. We've been many times before, so I didn't really need the DVD, but it seems to have done the trick!

I ordered a planning a DVD and have still gotten no pins. I ordered it about 6 months ago. I even ordered a DCL one also.

I bought a friend something from disneyshopping.com and I have received many email codes in her name. I just bought a gift card/birthday card for son. Maybe he'll start getting pins and we'll be able to use them. I wasn't allowed to use friend's code.

The last pin I recieved was the "monster pin" a few months back. I know there have been some out since then and I haven't gotten them. I hope to get one for my next trip which isn't till Nov 2011, hopefully I get back on "the list" by then.

Finally got the Cinderella pin yesterday - first time ever. I did what another thread suggested - saved some different vacation scenarios on Disney's website and requested a dvd. Also downloaded a vacation planner I found after requesting dvd.
