stopover at HHI on a Saturday afternoon

We will be driving to Vero the end of June (weekend before July 4 weekend). We are planning on stopping at Disney's HHI on Saturday, probably arriving around 2-3 pm. Is the traffic going onto the island unbearable from I95? Would we be better off just driving straight through to Vero? I would hate to sit in traffic for several hours.

I am not an expert, but if it were us we would just keep driving. Traffic is bad every Saturday getting on and off and 4th of July time is the busiest.
