Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

It's giving me an error page now too. The article was in the Disney Insider September 8, 2009 edition.

I just went looking for my disney insider and I think I found the link! thanks! Also if you want you can add me to your facebook. I did send you an email!

Good luck Lisa! :wizard:

I apply every year too. Wouldn't that be the most awesome experience ever??!! :goodvibes

Thanks! Good luck to you too! I'd love it if one of us were chosen.

It's coming up as a error page? Can you try pming me the link maybe?

It must be their website. Nothing is working. It's from Disneyfamily.com but even that site isn't coming up. Weird! Maybe it will work later.

Did the second link I posted work for you guys?

You would be so perfect. If I could vote I would.

If we could vote, then I am sure that one of us would be chosen for sure!

I registered Sheri. What do you think? If there ever was a princess she's the one. Her age might be a problem. But what the heck, I gave it a shot.
Ginny

I soooo wish I had a picture of Lacey in a tiara. I'd have her registered quick as a wink!

But really, can you be too old to be a princess? I think not.

I came in first thing this morning and applied for the new 2010 Mickey Mom's Panel. I've tried twice before and was never picked. What I wouldn't give for a free vacation to Disney!

When I saw that they were taking applications I thought of you! The powers that be should follow your trip reports and you would be in for sure. Maybe we could anonymously tip them off?:rolleyes1

That's so sweet that you thought of me. I wonder if Disney ever does come over to the Disboards and read? They should, they might could learn a thing or two.:lmao:

I don't like the new contest; it is not the first time they hold it!!! THAT"S just PREJUDICE!! It should include little princes also or they should do one for each! :lmao:
It should be a contest for DISNEY KIDS!!!! :yay: :cheer2:

Lisa, hope you get selected for the mom panel; that should be lots and lots of fun!!:yay:

It seems like Disney does a lot of stuff that's geared more towards girls. I so wish they had of had the pirate makeovers when Hunter was younger.

I would love it if I got chosen to the Mom's Panel.

I thought of you when I rec'd the email that they were looking!

Awww! You're too sweet!

Thank you for the encouragement. She just turned 38. I have a pictue on my thread of her princess party

I don't think you can ever be too old to be a princess. Did you really put her in the contest? If you did, I am going to go over and vote for for.

Good Luck!!!
pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

I think you would be a great panelist on MOMs Panel!
:thumbsup2

Thanks!

Thanks ya'll! Wouldn't it be great if a fellow Diser was chosen!

No problem. I really think you would be great at it. Of all of the trip reports I've read over the last couple of years, your "family" has warmed my heart the most. If you don't finish your report before we leave next week, I'm going to for sure have to log in while in FL or I'll fall too far behind.

And your boss, with the speakers, sounds like something mine would do--only not over speakers, but something else in the car. I've been with him for 34+ years and he continues to amaze me with some of the stuff he comes up with.

Well! (big sigh of relief) I'm finally caught back up! I had to skip over some chatter, but I made it thru. I love the early morning pics you got at your resort. I noticed what a good picture your camera makes. Everything looks crystal clear.

Love the jumping Epcot pics. Your kids are such a fun pair. I like the fact that they obviously love each other very much. I would have loved to have had a relationship with my brother, but it just didn't work out that way.

Glad your tooth stayed in place for lunch! I bet you had super glue on you, just in case, didn't you???

Who cares if someone is on the ground looking up taking pictures? Photographers do that all the time. It kills me that people think its okay to walk by and give odd looks, like they feel better about themselves for doing it. In my report, I talk about "looks" that I got, too, in regard to Mitchell's misbehaving. It irritates me to no end.

Speaking of my report, my link is http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2138984. You can check out my TN report in progress! I hope you'll stop by and pay me a visit.

If you guys are interested I have a ghost story, or something, I could tell, but I don't want to hijack your thread, Lisa.

Let me know.

Oh, and I am so enjoying your trip report!
:worship::worship:

You tell great stories and have great pics and tell wonderful detail.

You have wonderful kids, and they seem so well mannered!

Congrats to you on having such a wonderful family!
:yay::yay::yay:

Oh, and I'm down to 8 days, I'm almost giddy!!!
:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Heck yeah, we are interested in your ghost story. And, there's no such thing as hijacking on my thread. As you can see, we like to talk about anything and everything and a whole lot of it has nothing to do with the trip report OR Disney.;)

I've been really lucky with my kids. Both have been raised around attorneys, Judges, pastors and other authority figures. I've taken them to the courthouse with me and even in the courtroom when I was in a pinch. They pretty much know how to act. But, that being said, I have also made them aware that even those authority figures put their pants on one leg at a time just like the rest of us.

Ummmmm.......there is one thing that I'm going to put in at the end of my Epcot day that will may have you rethinking the "well mannered" comment. :rolleyes1 Nothing too bad though.

I don't blame you for being giddy! I'm still over 8 months from my trip and I get giddy thinking about it.

Again, feel free to share your ghost story with us.

I entered her last night. I have it saved on my laptop. When I get home tonite I will get the link so everyone can vote for my little princess. This is the pic I put in

Oh, Lisa: I forgot to mention that I LOVED the ghost story. You think the ghosts really turned it around? Like maybe they wanted those guys to know there really was a ghost around, just in case they weren't so sure? I don't see how you work there everyday, even knowing that they aren't unfriendly. Just the thoughts of it kinda creeps me out!

But I love a good ghost story, just the same.

If your children misbehave it is because of John. I know you would NEVER encourage them.

D. The pic. should show now

I just went looking for my disney insider and I think I found the link! thanks! Also if you want you can add me to your facebook. I did send you an email!

I'll go over to Facebook an add you.

do you think maybe there is a vagrant up there hiding out? So weird

I don't think there could be because the only way in the building is through a back gated area that's kept locked all the time or through our front door.

Well, I look forward to the rest of your trip report and to see how your kids do....

Well, before my wife and I were married, we were on a trip to Maine, and staying at a hotel in York Beach. It was a place we stayed a lot, but the first time in that room. It was a room with 2 beds, and the 2 beds were seperated by a wall that was maybe half the room. Our bed was the farthest from the door, and next to a window.

We were both asleep, soundly, and (this is what I felt) I suddenly felt a presence standing over me, like a person, large maybe, very stongly. I usually am jumpy when sleeping and somebody comes into a room with me or near me. Well, I literally jumped out of bed, down to the floor on my knees looking for the person that I was sure was in the room with us.

:scared1:

At exactly the same time, my wife says she felt the same kind of presence! She also woke up, though only sat up and and looked around, though she was jumpy.

:confused3

There wasn't anyone in the room but us! No sounds, no person, no nothing!!! Nothing was moved, no smells, no sounds, just an overwhelming presence standing over us both!

We both had that feeling of someone in the room with us. To this day, I can still feel it, even though we didn't see anything and this experience was over 10 years ago. It was and has been the only time we have ever had such an experience.

We asked around (not to obviously, didn't want to seem crazy ;)) but there were no ghost rumors for that hotel. I have searched online a few times as well, but to avail.

I have a feeling it will be with me for the rest of my life. I have been to a few Civil War battle sights and several haunted walks and other haunted places, and never felt the same feelings or presence. I wish I could explain it better and impress how strong this feeling was. I literally jumped out of bed, straight to the floor!

Thanks for letting me add my little ghost story, Lisa. Enjoying the TR muchly. Thanks for sharing!
:thumbsup2

Now that is pretty cool. I don't know if I believe or not in ghosts. I've never had a real encounter personally. I am very sensitive to what is around me tho so I understand how one would feel.

Ginny

It was interesting. We never stayed in that room again, so we didn't get a chance to try again (not that I want to feel it again...)

I don't know if I believe in ghosts either, but, as both my wife and I had exactly the same feeling and experience, there was something....

That's so sweet of you to say. I am super proud of my children. Lacey is turning out to be one of those gentle souls who just wants to help save the world. Hunter is the typical 12 year old boys but is so loving and tender hearted.

I know that you are getting really excited about your trip. Especially since you had to cancel it before and didn't think you'd be going back so soon.

The boss is so silly. When he called, he sounded frantic for me to find a dealership because something was wrong with his car. You can imagine my surprise when I called him back and he told me it was just a busted stereo speaker. Silly silly man!

Chatter? What chatter? We don't chatter on my report!:lmao: Seriously, glad that you're caught up.

The pictures that I've posted so far are the ones from my old Kodak camera before it stopped working. I still haven't taken it to the camera shop yet to see if it can be repaired.

Isn't the CBR beautiful when it's quiet and peaceful in the morning. That's one of the things we love about the resort.

I've been really lucky with Lacey and Hunter. They have always gotten along well. Lacey was 10 when Hunter came along and a lot of people said she'd be jealous of him. Well, she was jealous alright but not like people thought. She was jealous when somebody took him away from her! Now that she's gone away to school, it makes Hunter (and John, me and Mamaw) extremely happy when she does get to come home and spend time with us.

My sisters are both older than me. One is 6 years older and the other is 12 years older. We get along quite well now that we are all grown up.

You better believe that I had the super glue with me. I had one tube in the backpack, one in the room and one in the car. I was always prepared just in case!

Honey, Lacey and I were all over the place taking pictures. I didn't care if I got looked at or not. I was gonna get my picture! (insert snapping my fingers sound) I always try to refrain from giving people "looks" because I don't know their situation or the problem they are dealing with. That's not to say I don't think those "looks" in my head but I try not to show them.;)

I'm going to head over to your report and take a look see.

I entered her last night. I have it saved on my laptop. When I get home tonite I will get the link so everyone can vote for my little princess. This is the pic I put in

I don't know what happened up there except for what they told me. I think it's pretty creepy.

It doesn't really bother me too much. The only time it does is when the smoke smell gets to me.

If your children misbehave it is because of John. I know you would NEVER encourage them.

D. The pic. should show now

I would never ever never ever encourage my children to misbehave. I just buy them things like fart machines and fart whistles.:lmao:
