Stomach Virus

Timeline and Events

Thursday 3:00 Am. Daughter comes to our bed and informs us she threw up. Spent the next 30 minutes cleaning.

4:14 AM. Daughter thows up again.
4:30 AM. Daughter gets to sleep. I sleep next to her.
6:45 AM. Daughter wakes up and says "I feel fine" and thowes up again. Then the diarea starts.
10:15 AM. Daughter gets poked and proded for blood tests.
12:30 PM Daughter admited into Hospital
3:00 PM IV started.

Friday 3:30 PM. Wife throws up and soild herself.
4:00 PM. Son throws up. Diarea starts at about 5 PM.

Saturday 10:00 AM. Daughter released from Hospital. We get home at 10:20.
11:00 AM Mother in Law blows chunks.
11:30 AM I get feavor and upset stomach. Spend the next 19 hours in bed or bathroom.
6:30 PM Son throws up for 9th time. Has been fine sense then.

Sunday AM. My father comes down with the Cruds.
Sunday Afternoon. Daughter still has stomach pain, but doing better. Son is fine, Wife has chills, but is able to eat. I feel fine. New Toilet still works (Toilet repair, how not too).

From Wensday Morning till 2 hours ago I have lost 10 pounds due to breaking in the toilet.

Christening, Beating, Pummelling, Gassing, Coating. You name it it got it. And to some extent still is.

I feel for you. My daughter had it last week, my son and husband have had it all weekend.

We had it 2 weeks ago- dd (17) was the only one who escaped it's wrath. It's one nasty little virus- came on us out of the blue... feel fine and then throwing up a half hour later.

Glad you guys are better!

Ugh. I hate stomach viruses. Hope you all feel better soon...

Once when I was younger three of us got sick at once - we had one in the downstairs bathroom with the squits, and two of us throwing up in the upstairs bathroom - one in the toilet and the other in the bath (it was an emergency!)

I've never seen my mother get through so much bleach in one day. I swear she scrubbed so hard at the bathtub it must have been on the verge of collapse once she was through.

To the Op, I really feel for you because my family has been battling this for almost a week now. Some of us are going through various stages of it and I think it started Monday with my one son and my other son got it Wednesday night about 3am. I think kids must have an internal clock inside that makes sure they get up at 3am to be sick. I hope that this upcoming week provides some relief.

I went to bed at midnight - twenty-one hours ago. I slept like a baby for six minutes. At 12:06 am I was woken up by the screams of horror. My older girl (7) coated her half of her bedroom and it is a big bedroom. I don't do well without sleep. There appears to be a lull in our storm, but I am sure there is more to come.

WOW...talk about familys who share .....nothing worse when everyone including yourself gets it all at around the same time...no one to take care of you...we always need someone who is not sick to make us feel better...

Hope you are all on the mend soon and your new toilet needs some tender loving care because it has had it's own workout...

ehh. i hope that i am not getting it.. i have been in the bathroom so many times today.. i hope i am not getting it.. ahh.. wait until friday then i can get it. my sister has a dance thing all week i am going to see lol
