Stoller Rain Cover was the best thing I packed

We have used our rain covers on every trip. I have the generic ones with mesh sides from babies r us.

a tip... we used them every time we were at AK. Whenever we parked the strollers, we would cover them with the rain covers. We found with all the trees and plants, there were a lot of birds around...the covers saved the stroller seats from getting pooped on while parked at least twice.

do the zipper down kind go all the way around the stroller or just the front and top? I'm trying to find something for when we're there in Sept that I can leave on all the time. It's so hot at that time I don't want to block the air flow when it's not raining but I want it on so when we park the stroller is protected.

I like the tip of getting a stroller through walmart.com and having it shipped site to store with rain cover. I may just do this since we have a huge double stroller that I do not want to drag around. I would like to get a regular stroller since their are several times we only need one seat now and this may just be the way.

Our stroller rain cover was the best insurance we bought for our trip when Hurricane Ira blew past. Somehow we were always at the resort or in dinner when it rained. We NEVER got wet at all. Never even took it out of the pouch. On the night of our last full day someone stole it right out of our stroller in front of the host desk at O'Hana. I hope they really needed it because I obviously STILL think about it.
But again, stolen stroller cover, $15 -
not getting wet while a Hurricane passes by - priceless!

Thanks for posting this! We took advantage of the great weather today to clean our garage and found our stroller rain cover still in its original package! I'll be sure to pack it!

....pack spring type clothespins! These are so great for keeping the cover attached at the bottom of the stroller, and on the sides of the stroller too...a little extra security when the wind is blowing if the cover doesn't fit perfectly, or if you are using a poncho. We also found (back in the day) that the generic rain cover was just big enough to fit over a single Disney stroller, but having the clothespins kept it in place at the base, so DD's feet stayed dry. If you are staying on property at a Moderate (and Value, I think) resort, you will have a retractable clothesline over the tub in the bathroom, so you could use the clothespins there, too!

I agree completely! Although we only had to use it once, it was the best thing we brought! There were a lot of envious people and "I wish we had one like that" comments when the skies opened up our last day there. People had ponchos and trash bags draped over the strollers, but that didn't seem to work too well. My girls were dry and warm the whole time.

We rented a double City Mini from Magic Strollers and it came with the rain cover.

Anyone have a cover for a Graco Duoglider? I was looking at pics of the stroller cover online today and it didn't look like it went down far enough to cover the basket at the bottom??

The cover I mentioned is open in the back except for a short flap at the top.

I forgot to mention this...

we had the stroller covers on when we went to ride killamanjaro safaris at AK one day. When we picked up the strollers at the end, I found a certificate they left for us in the basket area---it was a certificate awarded to the "most prepared packer for a safari"
