Normally I would not do so but I had no way to contact the person so eventually a CM would have to be trusted. Figured these guys have access to rooms so they have to be vetted.
You'd think so, but that's not necessarily the case. Lots of stuff gets stolen from the rooms, especially small valuables that aren't locked in the room safe. Trust me...I know. We had money stolen from the room safe one trip about 6 or 7 years ago (I thought he'd locked it, he thought I'd locked it). Security couldn't do anything, although management was very supportive and sympathetic. I think they ended up giving us a small credit on our room charge...I know they did something to help make us feel better, although it wasn't nearly the value of the cash we lost.
It's not being paranoid if people really are out to get you...


Houseskeeping had made up our room while we were gone so who do you think took our money and belongings??? Hotel management took no responsibility what so ever and made it sound like it was our fault that members of his staff was thieving from guests. I was so furious.
