Stocking stuffer for wide age range

Every year we do a group stocking stuffer for everyone. One year it was puzzle boxes. Last year it was the flying/screaming monkeys. Looking for something that will be just as fun for someone 65 as it would be for someone who is 7. Any ideas?

We all got head lamps one year; those flashlights on a stretchy strap that puts the light on your forehead. Silly fun for kids, but also useful in lots of situations.

Bubbles are usually a hit with all ages (sometimes if you are really lucky even teenagers).
Another idea would be decks of cards with different rules attached for games appropriate to each age.
Sounds like a fun tradition!

If you have any craft shows by you, look to see if they have the ones that you blow made out of PVC pipe. We sell HUNDREDS of them each year (at 7 different shows) for $5.00 each. If you're handy, you can make them yourself for about $2.00 each. The first year we sold them, we had a lady buy over 100. She said that she was giving them to everyone she knew for Christmas. They come apart so it was easy for her to mail them.

FYI~ if you use the 1/2 inch PVC pipe, you can use craft pom-pons, round cereal (like Kix, Trix, Coco Puffs...), dog food/cat food...anything solid about the size of a mini-marshmallow. Cereal is great outside since it will dissolve or the birds will eat it.
