Rarity on VMK depends on how far into the past it was released, combined by how many times it was released, and lastly how much appeal an item/costume has.

Until another release happens, it will be green , yellow, khaki in order of value.

Plus the "rarity"/popularity of an item is due to its appearance... the ugly things (cough musketeer hat cough) just don't do well tradewise.

This explorer suit is the ugliest by far. It won't ever be popular. You're not going to see many people WANTING to wear this suit after the "newness" wears off. The suit is flesh-colored! It's like walking around the kingdom with a camera around your neck and nothing else...

I actually like the musketeer hat, you just have to change your hair color and wear a nice outfit to match it. I have been trying to find another 1 for my mule so I guess yours is up for trade?

And I disagree on the explorer outfit, I think the yellow is uglier but the green still ranks top as best looking(not going by rarity either).

Your not getting the point, if people don't want it or don't like it and a majority of vmk feels the same the item will not be rare. And the perecentage of people who couldn't log on yesterday is small, did you see the lag because about 90% of vmk players were on for the sale and quest. These people who couldn't log on see that no one wants it it isn't rare they didn't miss much = no trades.

I'm curious to see what happens to the quest kiosk. I wonder if it will go back to the inner space shop or retire.

I'm thinking it may retire since yesterday vmk gave all players a chance to get a kiosk by placing it in Neds and for half off. No space pin was needed.

No it was at this price for a while last year too in the inner space shop I think it will go back to the ISS same price as yesterday.

I like my musketeer hat too. It really goes great with the princess dresses. It's an outfit that I tend to wear a lot.
As for explorer, I don't really care for it. Whether it becomes "wanted" or not depends on what others think of it. We may have all hit a really great deal or we may have all just basically threw away our credits. Never know until later.

Just remember that most people don't like the superhero suit either. So it's never been too much in demand. Same with the football outfits.

Or ppl who are so out of the loop just trying to get credits to buy the new magic that they never read newsletters (I blame the ease of Pal for that) and havn't been on dis since Christmas! Ok, I'm also on the ski forums and ebay too much lately.
PS. I like the tan much better than yellow. fwiw Oh well.
