Stith is STILL Troubled; he STILL needs dessert! TR Continuation with pictures

We rushed back to the American Pavillion. This was the show I really wanted to see, so I was determined to get back there in time! We arrived and a CM showed us to the section we could sit in (since we had bought a CP dinner package). There weren't too many seats opened, but we found a few seats off to the side. The show was great. Our MC was John O'Hurley (who is much cuter in person!) I shot a lot of pictures, but here are the best:

John O'Hurley would read the Christmas story from the Bible (the book of Matthew, I think). He would read a part and then the choir would sing a song. It went on like this! It was a great show! I would LOVE to see it again!

Once the show was finished, I put my camera away and Stitch and I walked out with the mass of people. We decided it had been a long day (with the long walk from the front of EPCOT to Marrakesh and the fight afterwards!), so we decided to just head back to CSR even though the fireworks were about to start. Aside from the Candlelight Processional, I wasn't in the mood for much for Disney magic that day! We walked to the bus stop and hopped on a mostly empty bus. Everyone was watching the fireworks. We went back to our room to see this on the bed:

DSC_0224-1.jpg

So cool! They even used my birthday button. I had left it in the room since Stitch decided he didn't like me getting all the attention! :rotfl: The mousekeeping person used it to decorate our towel swans! I thought it was cool! WE even kept them together and moved them to a stool off the bed.

We fell into bed. I was exhausted, and I suspect Stitch was, too! What a day we had had, but it was fun- mostly!

Next up. . .EPCOT. . . favorite souvie found. . .and Osborn Lights!

Ok, Saturday dawns. EPCOT day! After our fight last night, I wasn't sure how Stitch was going to be. I was hoping for the better, but I was still walking on eggshells!

We got up, dressed, and ate at the Pepper Market for Breakfast. I have no record of what we had, but I think it was pretty good. We grabbed a bus to EPCOT and started our day.

Just as we got inside the park, we found a photopass photographer. (Seriously, I wasn't paying all that money for a photopass CD without photos in EVERY park!) I was very disappointed with our Photopass photographer. She was rude and uncaring about our photos. She didn't show any traits of Disney Magic. The pictures didn't even turn out that well because she was shooting into the sun. Seriously??? Any photographer- even a bad one- knows shooting into the sun is a bad idea. I'm sure we could have found somewhere in the shade or at a a slightly different angle. Oh well.

Ok, after that lovely experience, we headed on. We passed the ride time board only to see that Soarin' had a long line. I really wanted to ride it, but Stitch is scared of heights. I was worried how he would react to the ride. I have ridden the one in Disneyland many years ago, and as far as I know, they are the same. I decided not to force it if it didn't happen! I decided to head to Test Track. Stitch LOVES cars, so I thought this ride would be perfect!!!

We got in line. The wait wasn't bad, but we did have a bit of a line to stand it. I think STitch was getting used to standing in lines for a little while for rides. I thought, surely, the atmosphere of the que would distract Stitch. It did, but only for about a minute. Then, he was bored being in line. Oh well. Here are a few pictures I took:

We finally got to the ride. I enjoyed it! Stitch, of course, said it was OK. He said it was a little bumpier than he expected. Oh well. After the ride, Stitch decided he had to use the restroom again. :rotfl2: Ok, he finds a restroom and I wait. I asked Stitch to go into MouseGears with me. I love that store! We did some quick shopping- I wasn't about to get STitch upset since I still wanted to do some shopping in each country! I slid through the store quickly! Suddenly, I spotted it! I found one of the main things I wanted to find at Disney World! A new Mickey Mouse hoodie! I had seen a lady at AK with it on- black and Mickey and hearts on the sweatshirt in a tatooed look! She had told me she bought it at MK, and I resigned myself to finding it when we were there Sunday night for MVMCP! However, here it was! I snapped it up, tried it on, decided to get a larger size and sprinted to the cash register! I purchased it and had it sent back to the room! I was deliriously happy! Stitch was actually smiling seeing me so happy! :scared1: It was great. (I'll have a picture at the end of my TR!)

After our excursion in Mouse Gears, we decided it was time to head to Canada for our eagerly anticipated LeCellier lunch!!! On our way, we stopped to take pictures at the Christmas tree!

Then we made our way to Canada! I was so excited. This was another of my most aniticpated ADRs. I had never eaten here before, and I was jumping out of my skin!:yay:

We walked into the restaurant, and we were early. After our crazy run from one end of EPCOT to the the other the night before, I definitely wanted to be on time today! We waited for our turn even though there was no one in the waiting area! :rotfl:

Coming up. . .yummy lunch (with lots or pictures) . . .world showcase. . .and a cooperative Stitch! :faint:

:scared1: cooperative Stitch??!!! :lmao: can't wait for this next update! (btw your husb sounds exactly like I pictured my late husb to be on a WDW trip - sadly he had a sudden heart attack in the hotel room on our first visit to WDW in Dec 1994. But I was always walking on eggshells either on or off vacation cuz you never knew if he was going to be upset about something or go with the flow. It was mostly because of his heart condition that he became that way over the last few years but I can definitely relate.)

So sorry to hear about your husband. I'm surprised you still like Disney after what happened. I'm so glad it didn't turn you away!

I'll post another update this morning! :woohoo:

We stepped into the restaurant, and I was blown away by the beauty of just the waiting area!

Finally, it was our turn to go to our table. We walked down a slanted hallway that lead us into the "basement" restaurant! So totally awesome! I LOVED it!!!

We were seated near the entrance, but I didn't care. The waitress brought these gorgeous bread sticks! Yummy! I LOVE bread, so I was in heaven. Each one was different, but I don't remember what they all were.
Here is Stich:

We ordered our food: Mushroom Filet. Oh, wow, was it good! So juicy and yummy! I was so glad we were able to finally find an open ADR for this restaurant! I will definitely go back!
DSC_0265.jpg

Then we ordered dessert. I was on a mission: Chocolate Moose! Stitch ordered Chocloate Whiskey cake (I think. My notes are hard to read, and I can't find it on the recent LeCellier menus on allears.)
DSC_0266-1.jpg

DSC_0267-1.jpg

Yes, as you can see in my pictures, we did have wine with our meal. Delicious! Ok, I know. . .wine with lunch? Yeah, only on special occassions!

After lunch, we headed back towards Future World. First, as we were coming out of the restaurant, there was a Canadian Santa telling his Christmas tale. I didn't want Stitch to get upset, so I only shot a picture and then left.
DSC_0268-1.jpg

On our way, we past a McDonalds, and this poster totally cracked me up!
DSC_0269.jpg

We stopped nearby, so I could shoot a few pictures. It was such a beautiful day!

We headed to Mission Space. The rougher side of the ride had a 90 minute wait. However, we decided since we just gorged ourselves with steak, dessert, and wine, that they easier-less rough side would be fine. It was only like a 20 minute wait. We got in line. I hadn't ridden this, but I had heard the horror stories.
DSC_0276-1.jpg

It was a cool ride. Afterwards, we, of course, were dumped into a gift shop. I saw Mickey and Minnie!
DSC_0280.jpg

DSC_0281.jpg

After this, I lead to go find Soarin, but I never could find it. We were on the other side of Future World, so we decided to ride Journy Into Imagination. I guess I hoped it had gotten better. Not so much. The wait was nonexistant. I told Stitch he had to see Figment even though the original ride was so much better. We both decided it was lame. Oh well. Bring back the DreamFinder!!!

Ok. . .we left Journey and headed towards the World Showcase starting in Mexico! I decided to start there since Stitch had seen the other side the night before in our ruch back to Morocco!

More to come!! Too many pictures of lunch, so I will have to do WS and cooperative STitch later!

While Stitch went to buy a bottle of water right in front of Mexico, I shot some pictures of the lagoon!

I had decided before the trip (and unannounced to Stitch) that I wanted to get pictures of us in each country with a hat from that country. We found hats in every country but Japan and Italy. Stitch actually was ok with this! :scared1: He promised to have more fun, and that is what we did!

We entered Mexico and saw the three Wise Men doing a talk about the Mexican Christmas tradition. Then we headed inside the Aztec ruins
DSC_0290-1.jpg

This frog was just too cute! I knew he was entirely too expensive to take home, so I took a picture!
DSC_0294.jpg

Inside the ruins, we found sombreros (sp?) and tried them on!
DSC_0295.jpg

DSC_0296.jpg

DSC_0297.jpg

(By the way, we look seriously goofy in the first few countries, but as we get used to trying hats on, we get sillier!)

We shopped a little, and then decided to ride the Mexican Fiesta boat ride. I'd never been on it, so I had no idea what to expect. It wasn't bad. Kinda like Small World, but with a Mexican and Three Caballeros feel.

When we got off the Mexican ride, we had to stop at this awesome little store. It had beautiful little sculptures of the characters. Of course, they were WAY too expensive for me, so I shot more pictures!

DSC_0307.jpg

DSC_0308.jpg

Aren't they gorgeous??? Wish I could have them. . .oh well. Too much money. STitch would have died!!!

We headed out of the Mexican pavillion, and headed on.

See how awesome Stitch is! It gets better!

Looks like Stitch is having some fun (at last!) :woohoo: Your pics of the lagoon are beautiful!

We headed onto Norway. I wanted to get the school bread, but we were both so full from lunch, we decided not to. We stopped by the Viking Ship. I had heard it wasn't going to be there much longer, so I shot a picture of it!
DSC_0309.jpg

We headed into the pavillion more, and we did a little shopping. Of course, we had to have our picture take with the troll and with the Norweign hats!

We hit the stores to find the hat! What beautiful things they had.

DSC_0321.jpg

Then we found this little beanie-type hat that had a long thin braid attached to it.
DSC_0322.jpg

DSC_0324.jpg

Then we headed outside. As the passed the round building, we saw Mulan and Mushu (I think) standing outside. The line was really long, so we continued on. We walked across the little bridge and really enjoyed the scenery!

DSC_0333-1.jpg

We were having a pretty good time. We watched the crane and also found a little lizard in the bushes we watched for a while.

We continued on to the Trading Post. I took a couple pictures. The second one is a picture of an instrument that was in the little store. I love instruments, so I had to have a picture.
DSC_0335-1.jpg

DSC_0336-1.jpg

At this point, we were getting pretty hot, and the Trading post had some powerade, so we stocked up. We did some heavy drinking to rehydrate us, and then we continued around the lagoon!

After the trading post, we passed by the Glass Blower. He was near Germany. He was making beautiful Christmas ornaments. We stood and watched him for a while.

DSC_0341.jpg

DSC_0342-1.jpg

Then we proceeded onto Germany. We went through the shops. My mother is part German, so I wanted to get her something German. She loves Nutcrackers, but when I saw the price, I was blown away. :scared1: So I shot a picture.
DSC_0343.jpg

I also considered getting her a pickel ornamanet, but for whatever reason, I didn't. However, I shot pictures of those as well
DSC_0344-1.jpg

DSC_0345-1.jpg

I'm always fascinated by food of other countries- especially snack food. We walked through the food area of this store, and I just looked at every little thing they had. This was a cool display in that store.
DSC_0346-1.jpg

After some shopping (Stitch was being very good! :stitch2:), we headed outside. I love Disney details. I love how accurate each country looks and feels. (Not like I really know :rotfl:) Anyway, I just love shooting pictures in each country. So much fun!!

Then, of course, we went to the other side of the pavillion to do more shopping!

DSC_0353-1.jpg

Then we found the German hats! I think these are some of my favorite pictures from the trip! Aren't we both stylin'??
DSC_0354-1.jpg

DSC_0355.jpg

I still think we should have bought that hat!!! We checked out the German stines which were beautiful and then Stitch had to use the restroom. (YOu know, next trip, I should take pictures of all the restrooms Stitch uses, because I think his bladder is half the size of mine! Geez!!) We stopped between Germany and Italy. I was nearly jumping out of my skin. Italy is my favorite pavillion in the whole WS. Not that I don't like the other ones- I just think Italy is so beautiful!!!!! Plus, I was on the hunt to buy an authenic Italian Carnival Mask. (My first trip to Disney World was in 1992 when I was 13. My parents decided not to lug my brother and I through the world showcase- we sat in Great Britian to watch the fireworks, and we did check out a few shops, but that was it! When I went back 10 years later, I was determined to go through the world showcase. I loved it! I feel in love with the Carnival masks that trip, and I bought my first one. I decided every time I went back to Disney to get one of those masks from Italy!)

We first walked out to the lagoon where the gondolas set up with the long stripped poles and bridges like in Italy! We shot a few pictures; it was a gorgeous afternoon!

More of Italy coming up!

I loved the pics of Italy - esp of you both! Stitch really enjoyed his day - you can see it especially in the pic of him in Italy and China (that Chinese hat was too cute!). Am so glad you got to visit Italy and all the countries in WS :yay:

So sorry it has taken me so long to find your TR, but I'm onboard and loving it!! The photos are fab and I'm enjoying the light fixtures - details are what I love most about Disney magic. :wizard:

My DH is a lovely guy who I am completely in love with - but is, alas, not a Disneyfreak like me. He suffers through, bless him, but we have two children now, which means it is SO NOT about him - right? So I sympathize with a less than enthusiastic partner.

Love your report - hope to see more!
