That looks just like AE but with Stitch in the middle....

I really thought they would change it to lower the height requirement somehow, to make it more family friendly. I guess I better go measure my 6 year old, though I doubt it will be open for our early October trip. Even if they were planning on getting it done quickly, I'd bet the storms have slowed down everything.

I don't know about you guys, but AE scared the cr*p out of me, almost literally! I definately agree that the bars were to keep people from bolting. If I could have, I would have! I do not fright easily...but the combination of all the effects, the wispering on the neck, the mist (felt like light spitting on your ear) worked! All the "it's just Mickey Magic" mantras I said to myself during the event didn't help. I was very surprised this attraction was a "Disney" attraction. Now, on the flip side....Stitch is awesome, and I could see the same experience being not so scary because it's stich. I really wanted to see this attraction as my daughter is a Stitch Freak, I would have never taken her on AE but I would go on Stitch's Great Escape in a heartbeat.

Final note, when we were there in 1994, I asked my now ex-husband to go on the ride first to check it out for me and my then 6 year old son. He came off the ride, came to the bench we were waiting on and said, "It wasn't bad, Zack (my son) will like it!" Needless to say that's one of the reason's he's the Ex. And my son did agree AE was good, after about 2 hours of consecutive Small World rides.

There are AP holder preview days on Nov. 5,6 &7. Dznefreek reported that there is a banner up at the park that says the Grand Opening is Nov. 16.

I am really surprised the seats are going to be the exact same thing.
On our mid-Oct trip last year they asked for volunteers from those waiting for EMH to start to help them with something. Well I thought, sure. Well they only needed kids within a certain height range. Both of my DD's (4 and 7 at the time) were chosen. They took us into MK completely empty (got some great pictures) and to the AE ride. I had already heard on these boards something was going to be changed on them.
Well the whole purpose of getting these kids together was to check the heights of the seats. Since they were now gearing it to a younger crowd they wanted to see what adjustments on the seats would need to be made.
They photographed, videotaped and took a ton of notes from each child that was seated.
We will be anxious to see the changes.
Ona side note, they gave us 10 Front of the line (even better than Fastpass) for the trouble and we still got out before the EMH even started.
That was GREAT!

They've announced dates for the AP previews, they haven't announced a CM preview yet (and I'd imagine that'd probably come before the AP preview)

I've been told that the Grand Opening is November 16th also. I assume there'll be a 'soft opening' prior to that.

They were casting local kids here to do a commercial on it. The shoot is supposed to take place late October, so it must be somewhat close to completion.
