Stitch's Great Escape

Anyone know what kind of ride Stitch's Great Escape is going to be? Is it going to be something more like Winnie the Pooh or more like Dumbo? Or something completely different?

Sometime this fall....September or October I believe. I think I read that on another thread on here.

Thanks - we are considering a trip in early October so we can attend MNSSHP. We have made 7 trips to WDW but never in October and would love to take in a few new attractions.

I read on another site that it is currently scheduled to open October 1st.

I never did Alien Encounter, but my 5 year old (chicken) DS noticed that Stitch was going to be in the attraction now and wants to go on. Is this a good idea? Is it pretty intense for a chicken 5 year old and his chicken mom and grandma?

Any chance of a soft opening? How much time before the official openings do soft openings happen?

I don't know for certain how far ahead they do these soft openings but we were there last year, first week of aug, and we got to do Mission Space and I don't think it opened until Sept. or Oct. Also, I don't remember the year but we did the same thing for Rock n Roller coaster. We were there about the same time and we got to test it before it opened. We will be there this year and are hoping that we get to try Stitch. My kids love Stitch.

Maybe we will get lucky!! We leave in 20 days!!!
