Stitch's Great Escape... what the heck was that?

:confused3 :confused3 I like the ride.

I'm not a big stitch fan as in the movie or character but like this ride.

That's how I feel.
My family enjoys it. We laugh together about the 'effects' and the activity.

Everything can't be an 'E' Ride.

Honestly, if you're debating doing Stitch, don't listen to anyone else. Just go and do it. You're the only one that will ultimately decide if you like it or not, no matter what anyone else says. Don't go into it with super expectations, you most likely will be disappointed. And that's for any ride, from Stitch to Everest. You may find that your experience jives with the experiences here, or you may find that you really do like the ride.

I think these are smart words! I heard how "BAD" this ride was, but my teen loves Stitch and couldn't be persuaded not to try. I knew to sit up tall, so the restraints weren't painful and to hold my breath at that bad moment, thanks to the boards, and she just enjoyed it so much. We have gone to see it both times. So, you can't make your decisions based on other people's opinions; sometimes you just have to try it!

wow - give stitch some love peeps! i agree it's not the best, but my kids and i loved it and will see it again.

some people love IASM and it makes ME want to pull my ears off just so i'm not exposed to that song for more than one verse, but i ride it for my son.

if you haven't seen it, check it out for yourself. you never know - it might become one of your favs. AND it's air conditioned!

I was terrified by AE when I was little but, I loved it. Poor Stitch I loved the movie and thought it was adorable it needs a better ride. I always thought that it would be really cool to have an indoor roller coaster for Lilo and Stitch and have a surfing theme. I get sick every time i smell the chili dog in Stitch. yuck.

Jus checkun tha spel-cheker.

iz OK.

I agree with DVCJEN. The animatronic Stitch is pretty amazing but in order to experience him you have to be pinned to a non-moving chair in the dark while he tortures you. He sneezes on you (mist of water, though my imagination was running rampant at that point and I was convinced it was snot), burps chilidog on you (the most heinous smell on earth), jumps on you (your harness presses down - claustrophobic, anyone?) and generally makes you second guess any decision you make for the rest of the day.

If you are on your own, go ahead and try it (you were warned) but I would avoid it if you have kids.

I think that is what made me hate it. I'm not a fan of being strapped into a seat when it's not going to move AT ALL and I think I had a mini panic attack when my harness started pressing down on me. I didn't really find any of it entertaining either.
Personally, if this was around when I was a little kid I would have left it being afraid of Stitch.

Agree 100%...total WASTE of our valuble Disney time. SO glad we didn't have to wait in line...had we I would have been really mad!!! I can't believe there isn't talk of a refurb or demolish.:confused3

Here's an idea (in case an Imagineer is lurking)...

A boat ride, with little audioanimatronics of Stitch in various national costumes from around the world, singing, "It's a Small Stitch After All."
