I only did it once. Not the best thing in the world at all, but I don't really get the "Worst ride ever" comments. I'd much rather do it than say the flying carpets. I only did it once, though, so maybe it takes a few times to hate it.

I know I'll get flamed for this, but I would ride it over the Tiki Room.

I know I am the minority here, but I absolutely love Monsters Inc laugh floor.

Its one of our family favorites as well. I was even picked to be "that guy" on our last trip and played along. A CM gave me a sticker afterward saying "I was that guy at Monster's Inc Laugh Floor!"

My daughter and I were standing in line for Primeval Whirl when a nice older couple got in line behind us. They read the warning sign and were debating whether they could go on it. Despite many trips to AK, I'd never been on it before so I didn't offer any advice. The parking lot portion of DinoLand was always something I had just pretended didn't exist. But I remember this nice old man pointing at my 7 year old daughter and the height restriction and saying that it couldn't possibly be that bad.

As the four of us unloaded from our beastly little metal nightmare 10 minutes later, the poor man was on his way to an aid station. He had thrown out his back and was in considerable pain. My daughter and I swore we would never get on that pointless monstrosity again. Always read the warning signs people!

Did anyone hear, on the latest DIS Unlugged WDW edition, the defense of SGE? I found it convincing, although I've never hated this attraction as much as some.

About time! This ride was terribly designed and (in my opinion) the worst at WDW as a whole. Hopefully this space will finally be renovated into something worthwhile.

From what I have heard, it is now officially permanently closed. I have also heard a rumor of what could be replacing it. I heard that a Wreck-it-Ralph Virtual Reality Racing Ride that is based off of the Sugar Crush game. I think this could be true because in an interview with Disney they said that they want to, "significantly scale up VR production". Also, Wreck-it-Ralph 2 is coming out on November 21, 2018, so it could be a good idea to announce the ride around the time of the movie.

I heard that almost a year ago on one of the various podcasts I listen to.

According to what I’ve heard the wreck it Ralph plans fell through.

Nuts...I would think that they could but in a ride using the FoW tech in that spot. The ride itself shouldn't take up too much space.
