Stitch's Dance party at MNSSHP??

Has anyone done the Stitch Dance party thingy at Cosmic Rays during MHSSHP? My dd is a HUGE Stitch fan and if she sees this on the map, she'll want to go. Anyone have any details?

We haven't gone yet, but I have read that they have a DJ playing music and characters come through to dance with kids.

We went and my DD LOVED it. They had a DJ going when we first walked in before a schedule "Stitch" time. But then he kept going on that Stitch would be there shortly. Then when it was show time the stage opened up and came from below and had the DJ and Stitch in his Elvis get up. Then they invited moms and dads out to do the twist....and then Chip, Dale and Pluto came through and was dancing with the kiddos. They were just starting to hula hoop when we left since DD is still too little for that. But she had an absolute BLAST!!

We were there Oct 2 and caught the Stitch show by accident. We were eating at Cosmic Rays and then Stitch came on. My kids danced around the table. Mine are too young to hula hoop too, but wait around till the end. They pass out candy. Beware though, they do the Macarena!!!

Does anyone know what time the show is scheduled. My kids love stitch and I would love to plan a meal around it. Do you need resies at Cosmis Rays? Sorry if that is a stupid question...I have never been to Disney -until next week!!!

The show is only during the Halloween Party (MNSSHP) which requires a separate ticket. Didn't know if you knew that or not. Anyway, it's done several times during the party. It runs about every 45 minutes to an hour, I think. Cosmic Rays is a counter service restaruant so you don't need reservations and it should be pretty easy to schedule dinner during the show. They have a pretty big selection, but it's split into 3 lines so if one of you wants a burger and the other wants chicken you have to wait in two separate lines. You'll want to sit in the lower level where the stage is to see the show. there s sign to the left of the stage with the showtimes on it.

Can you tell me how long the dance party was? I know dd would go nuts, but I don't want to spend 45 minutes or something watching her dance. 15 would be ok though. I know she would really love to see him in his Elvis outfit. Can you be by Stitch or is he only on the stage?

I don't know if this helps, but back in 2000 when our DSs were big Buzz Lightyear fans, we went to the "Buzz Lightyear Dance Party" (Stitch was probably just being drawn back then!).

We had no problem getting close to the stage. And we probably only stayed 15-20 minutes; there were a lot of people coming and going. I remember the DJ playing "Who Let The Dogs Out" at least a couple times! And I remember it was really loud!

We were only there 15-20 minutes. Sammi had a great time....and it was loud. And we were able to get really close to the stage...here is a picture of her there. Of course it doesn't have stitch in it.
