stitches great escape good or bad?

to make it short...

My hubby and I went on this ride on our night without the kids. We HATED it and will never waster our Disney time doing it again. The storyline was non-existent, it was not exciting at all and I'll put it this way, the "aromatherapy" that "comes out of Stitch's" mouth made me sick for a half hour and I don't get sick on ANY type of ride...

We were very disappointed...

Even the Disney Fanatic in me who wanted badly to like it, hated it...

"DITTOS"

I rode this ride back in December. I had read all the terrible reviews and had no intention of going on this ride, however my 8 year old daughter wanted to ride the Stitch Ride. So we grabbed fast passes, booked it to MGM rode TOT, booked it back to MK and rode Stitch. Snore.... somebody wake me up. The 8 year old however loved it..... wanted to ride again and again almost as much as we rode Buzz Light Year.

So I feel it does need some upgrade, especially that long dark period with nothing, but if you asked my DD she would give it two thumbs up. :confused3

Call me crazy, but I actually liked Stitch's Great Escape. And the funny thing is, I thought I was going to absolutley hate it, but I didn't think it was half bad. I thought that the "Chili" smell was clever. Although, I still think that the Extra Terror-estrial Alien Encounter should have stayed. Oh well.

Im glad I'm not the only one! The stitch ride is just like the alien ride with different characters! It exactly the same...even the furry little guy in the first room is still there. I hoped it would have been completely different and I didn't really enjoy it at all.

My family and I were excited to see it because it was about Stitch- such a cute movie- however after comparing it to Alien- we felt disappointed. They should change it to be more kid orientated- good idea using stitch- just didn't turn out the way I would've hoped! ::MinnieMo

DH & I were very disappointed. It was not worth any kind of wait. It was the old Alien storyline, just with Stitch instead. We kept waiting for it to get better but it didn't. It is not up to Disney standards at all. Thumbs down.

Its ok... Young kids will enjoy it but older kids like myself will think its ok

(where did Lilo go.. It is called Lilo and Stich)

yeah its like beauty and the beast they focus more on beauty than the beast. ok bad example but she is in the title and she helped him to be nice!!! :confused3. maybe the ride could be related to the tv series where they got out and find more experiments. in the beginning they have have gantu talking to the hamster dude about the new experiment to be located and the ride would be them(lilo and stitch) trying to catch the experiment before gantu. and the experiment was eletrical water or something. stitch kind of fights him and you get wet. you also cant see an animatronic of lilo on the ceiling. oops went into an at-a-second-notice splurge idea mode of mind  . well it is just a thought.

we were sorry that alien encounter had to go... now after seeing this ride we are UPSET AE had to go, at least they could've made something that would have made alien encounter missing not soooo bad...

I just got back from Disney last night. I went on Stitch with my friend. She was a little scared, but I dont know why. It wasnt scary. I agree that you are in the dark for a little too long. You just sit there and here noises. I think that younger kids will like it, but I dont think it will really appeal to ages 10 and up.

On a scale of 1-10 I would probably give Stitches Great Escape a 4

Stitch's Great Escape is okay. It is one of those things that is worth doing one time.(Just to see how it is.) :confused3

I'm sorry, but anything in WDW that's only worth doing one time isn't "okay" and shouldn't be in WDW. You make it sound like a colonoscopy.

Please don't give Eisner any ideas for new attractions.

a colonscopy is more fun than this ride.!!!!! :cool1: Every one that gave their ok for this ride should be fired. The tea cups are more fun and the line is shorter. :smooth:

Plus4206, your post didn't make very much sense. A colonoscopy is a medical examination where the colon is examined using a colonoscope. How does this relate to my quote "it was only worth doing one time"? Maybe you need to become more aquainted with the dictionary. :rotfl:

I know exactly what a colonoscopy is. It is highly recommended that males have one at age 50. In your post you said "It is one of those things that is worth doing one time."

Seeing how I'm swiftly approaching that magical age my attitude is " $%#$% this ain't going to be fun, but I gotta do it at least once ".

Talk about ME's last attempt at a DARK ride... Jouney to the center of your Bowels. Hey, maybe it'll be included in a refurbed WoL.
