I stayed at all stare movies and I requested bed sheets to be changed and with in all of that I had my stitch squishmollow and I came back to the room and he was gone. It has been 8 days since he went missing I filled my lost And found report and have not had any luck hearing back from them if they found him.

Any ideas on what I should do?

Unfortunately there is literally nothing you can do after filing that report except wait and if it doesn’t show buy another- if that’s even possible 😢

Really sorry that happened. 😥 Unfortunately, I've been in the same place. I had two items go missing (one from Poly) and never got them back. There really isn't anything to do. You could email Disney's customer service but they will just direct you to lost and found to submit a form. I think you will need to buy another Stitch. Check eBay if it's a rare item.

It isn’t rare and Disney just needs to do better it was taken with laundry

For a bed change, they scoop everything up and throw it into a bin where it is later separated based on item type. If there are any items in the bed or under the sheets, they’re not going to be noticed. If they are in between sheets, it wouldn’t be discovered until the central laundry facility finds it and by then, there’s no way to know what room the linens came from.

I don’t know that there is a way Disney could “do better “ if an item was left in the bed. I highly doubt they stole your stuffed animal because you weren’t tipping them however, as a courtesy of staying at a resort, it is customary to tip. Possibly you could consider it in the future for the people who do work very hard to make your stay as magical as possible.

This one was a Christmas present that my sister got me and at this point I think house keeping took it because they weren’t being tipped
Doubtful. It likely got rolled up and bagged - then bags get sent the big laundry facility. The volume of rooms and laundry … I would not expect it to be found unfortunately.

Every time we leave room we move all personal items off bed in to a drawer or suitcase.

Yeah, that's a no. Risk their job over that when over half of guests don't tip anyway? There is a lot of dumb out there but I'll go out on limb here and say nobody is that dumb- if they're gonna take the risk of stealing from guests they'd at least take cash or something of actual value.

I concur with PP it got swept up in the laundry, after hitting laundry it could easily have been destroyed beyond recognition before getting caught.

However, as a courtesy of staying at a resort, it is customary to tip.
Nope, it's only advised in tipping etiquette. Less than half of people in the US tip housekeeping from most surveys and this survey from bankrate last year suggests the number is closer 25%. For something to be customary a majority of people need to do it and they don't in the US.

Now, I'm not saying don't tip, but don't make someone feel abnormal because they didn't abide by "customs" when not even half the country does it.

I also had 2 other stuffy on the bed that were still there

Perhaps they saw those and not the other? I wouldn't jump to conclusions and assume they stole something, I highly doubt that.
Next time just make sure that you have everything off of the bed when you are leaving the room and/or put them away somewhere safe like a suitcase.

Sorry this happened to you.

All 3 of them were in a pile and then one went missing it just suspicious and it bend 8 days and have Hurd nothing and I don’t live in Florida

OP, I am so sorry this happened to you. I assume you looked under the bed and around the room to make sure it didn’t just fall off the bed? Unfortunately, the PP are correct, housekeeping tends to just scoop up the linens and go, so if Stitch was covered up and not visible, they wouldn’t have known he was there.

I don’t leave anything in the bed at a hotel, specifically because of this reason. I move everything to a table or cabinet before I leave the room for the day.

You say it has been eight days. I would follow up at around 2-3 weeks if you haven’t heard anything. At that point, if it hasn’t been found you may have to replace it.

He wasn’t covered up and he didn’t get knocked off this was the first time they changed the sheets the entire time

Then I would check back with Lost and Found after it’s been a couple of weeks. It takes time for found items to get logged in to the system. I have read a lot of posts where people had given up hope because it had been so long, and then their item showed up. Good luck!

I may give them a call tonight a check and see

Oh boy, the word police are out today.
Nobody’s making anyone feel abnormal.
And surveys….I read that 89% of 40 out of 55 people who think “maybe” is a for sure thing say 35% of everyone else is born on Tuesdays. 😂
