I have just read on mouseplanet.com that Stitch may have preview openings on November 5 to 7 for "AP/DVC." I thought such openings were only for AP holders but this would seem to say that DVC members may also be able to ride. Is this right? If so, how does one get to ride?

I seen the same post.

I think it might just be a luck of the draw. On any of those days.

We are going to be there 5-7 so I will do everything that I can to try and get in the ride. But I am a AP so that might help me out some too.

Yup, it was mentioned in the newest DVC newsletter. I think all you'll have to do is show your DVC card. :)

Would the kids be able to ride as well even though only DH and I have cards?

I shouldn't think that would be a problem as with DVC only the adults get cards. It's on the member site.

I know I'll be there, DVC card in sticky paw...

I have an AP, but my nephews do not. Would I be able to bring one of them on the ride with me? I was thinking that I could go on with each of them one at a time. Will they allow this? Also, what does a DVC card look like? Does it have your photo on it or just your name?

I would think they'd let your nephews ride with you without a problem.

As far as the DVC card question -- that's sort of an odd question!! To answer it, though, it's the credit card-like membership card we receive when we purchase. And no, it doesn't have a photo. Which sort of begs the question -- why does it matter? Are you thinking people will try to use cards that don't belong to them just to get in? It would be a shame if Disney had to start checking IDs for something like this ....

Terk-1, all you can do is ask the managers checking IDs when you get there. During the soft openning of Mission Space, only AP holders could go in, so the managers let my hubby use my AP to go with our grandson (an AP holder). But during Philharmagic, the managers let our whole party go even though only 3 of us had APs and 3 did not. It probably depends how crowded it is and if they need to fill seats. Let me say one thing, during both events I went to they DID INDEED check ALL APs, mostly for expiration dates, seems some folks try to use expired APs to do these events, can you believe it?
