My daughter has become obsessed with Stitch. All she wants this trip is some Stitch ears, a Stitch head hat, or headband with ears (she's been surfing eBay ~ but I am not paying those prices!). Does anyone know if you can still purchase these in the parks somewhere?

I havent noticed any Stitch head gear but there are plenty of plush toys. We are haeded back to MK tomorrow and if I see Stitch headwear I will post it here. :-)I

There is a shop focusing on Stitch where you come out of the Stitch ride in Tomorrowland. You should be able to scoop up plenty of Stitch stuff there. :)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! That would be a huge help!

My son is Stitch obsessed, and I mean overly obsessed. We have always found some of the best stitch merchandise at the Polynesian resort. It's just a monorail ride away from MK. Good Luck on your hunt, there is not a lot of things out there with him on it.

I wish they'd either bring back the Stitch cartoon, which we loved, or do a new Stitch cartoon. He's just so great. :thumbsup2

The Stitch cartoon series IS back on, but it airs in the middle of the night, so you need a DVR. My 6 yo DD is Stitch-obsessed. It's hard to find Stitch merchandise. We resort to eBay often, since Stitch is more popular in Asia. We even tried unsucessfully to order from Disney Store Japan. Also, try Etsy for Stitch headwear.

OH!!! THANKS! I'll have to look for it. We do have a DVR. :) In fact, our livingroom DVR is full of Mickey, Chuggington, & Little Einsteins. What's one more eh? :lmao: Dirct TV only recently added teh Disney JuniorChannel, I just haven't looked yet to see what old "classics" we liked from 10 years ago are on. I liked Rollie Pollie Ollie too. :)

What channel is Lilo and Stitch back on?? I just tried to do a search and couldnt find it.....:confused3

On DirecTV Disney Junior is on channel 289, and Lilo & Stitch is on 3:30am.

I bought an adorable Stitch plushie backpack at Mouse Gear in Epcot a few years ago on my last trip. I bet they'll have it at the store after Stitch's Great Escape, but I know for sure you can get it at Epcot.

As for the Stitch hat that makes you look like he's eating you..... I saw that at my local Character Premier store a couple visits ago. I'm not sure if that means the parks stopped carrying it. You could still look.

Shouldn't be too hard to find some merch for him. He's a popular character.

We were in Epcot today and they had some Stitch stuff in the gift shop when we got off Mission Space.

We found that Stitch Merchandise is actually difficult to come by which is surprising, given he seems quite popular. My sister loves Stitch and all we found in a trip (in February) was plush toys, pens, keyrings. She bought everything she could with Stitch and that's all we could find. Check out the Polynesian and the shop by Stitchs ride at MK. They seemed to have the best selection. :thumbsup2

Our local DirectTV just added Disney Junior recently as well. They added it when they had the Nick strike. I am glad they didn't take it back off of us when the Viacom channels came back!

I have been recording Lilo & Stitch the past few weeks and my son is loving that he can watch it again. Its been a few years since it was on regularly. They also brought back Higgleytown Heros and some other older ones.

I will second what previous posters said about the original poster's question. The gift shop at the Stitch ride and the Polynesian Resort are both great places to get Stitch merchandise. One thing to be on the lookout for if you're not very familiar with the Stitch ride, depending on which exit you come out of the ride you will either come out into Mickey's Star Traders gift shop or you'll exit into the Stitch merchandise gift shop. Before we realized there were two different exits emptying into two different gift shops I told my sister I'd meet her in the gift shop at the end of the ride. We ended up waiting for each other for over an hour before we found each other because we were waiting in separate gift shops and her cell phone wasn't charged. So if you plan to go to the Stitch gift shop at the end of the ride, don't get surprised and think they changed the store if you end up exiting into Mickey's Star Traders. Just walk over to the other one, they're not that far apart, but just be aware there are 2 different gift shops and 2 different ride exits.

As a fellow Stitch lover I can totally understand your daughters requirements :lmao: As if our wedding photo didn't give you a hint :rolleyes1

Yes, I am one of those crazy people who NEEDS to hunt down Stitch merchandise in the parks. It is hard to come by, but can be done!

Like everyone else has said, the shop near the Stitch ride & the gift shops at the Poly are the best places. But you can also find a random item in random places. For example, depending how old your daughter is, you could have a glass engraved with her name & a picture of stitch at the shop on main street. There are some vinylmation stitch characters. In HS where there sell star wars stuff you could see if they have any yoda stitch bits. Stitch 'pins' tend to be everywhere if she likes those.

In terms of hats / headbands - I know they did have a headband with ears and also the big floppy hat thing, those used to be found in the big shops e.g. Emporium at MK, Mouse Gears at Epcot, World of Disney at DTD. I'm sure she'll definately find a piece of 'head gear' if she visits one of those, or the Poly or the shop near the stitch ride :thumbsup2

Hope this helps? :grouphug:

Merchant of Venus has the most Stitch stuff, but Mickey's Star Traders has some too. The ride alternates exits between those 2 stores, so you don't know which one you will end up in.

The backpack has been discontinued. I'm not sure about the hat, but I don't remember seeing it. I work in Tomorrowland and have people ask about the backpack ALL the time! So hopefully they'll bring it back sometime since it's so popular.

Yes, they alternate which exit they use with each show, so you don't know which one you will come out of. The best thing to do is to wait in or around Auntie Gravity's Ice Cream shop which is between the 2 gift shops.

~If you're a Stitch fan, definitely go into Merchant of Venus and look up at the ceiling! Also look closely at the mural on the wall - there's a hidden Stitch in it. :)

Aww, that's too bad. It's an adorable backpack. I wore it the entire trip right after buying it, and I'm thinking about wearing it again next trip.

Maybe they'll bring it back. I see why it would be discontinued since I bought it at the Clearance price of $15/$16. Still, it was a cute birthday gift for myself (It was my birthday that day!).

Maybe it'll come back!

I was searching last year for things Stitch...I found lots of plush toys, but very little else....hopefully things have changed this year.
