Disney have announced that the Annual Passholder preview dates will be November 5,6,7 during regular park operating hours.



This bodes well for it being open for our Dec. 12/3 - 12/7 trip.

I just checked the Annual Pass site. When I log in still says check back at the end of August. In hope it does open by November.

Yay! This means I'll get to do CoP again this trip AND I should be able to preview Stitch. Best of both worlds.

Now, I can't remember how the handled Mission: Space and Mickey's Philharmagic. Did they do soft openings of those attractions before the AP previews or not? I'm pretty sure they did for Mission: Space but don't remember about Mickey.
HOPEFULLY, they will do the soft openings beforehand.

They usually have CM preview, then AP preview, then soft opennings. My last day of my next trip is Oct. 31, so unless they do a CM preview, we won't catch it until our January trip.

What a bummer!!! We are starting our trip Oct 30 and ending it November 4 when we drive to DCL for our 3 night cruise! So I'm missing it by one day too!!!

BUT the cruise ends November 7 early in the morning and our flight doesn't leave till 2:40p!

Do you think I have time to run back to MK for this?

I've never done an AP preview of a ride! How does it work???

Maybe I CAN do it after all, if I can convince my DH to head back to MK for a couple of hours before my flight!!

So do you think it will be opened for everyone during Thanksgiving week? I was really looking forward to riding it. It will probably be several more years until we get to go back. I hope it will be opened for us that week.

Even though Mission Space's AP preview was in August, we rode it on June 9ish. Thats 2 months early.

I don't like those dates, I hope they are wrong !!! We come home on August 24th and my dd wants to see Stitch sooooo bad, and we won't be back until 2006!!!

UGH, that should read "October" not August .

In the past, how long after the ap preview did the attractions open for the general public?

I'm confused. Will COP and Stitch not be open at the same time? I thought Stitch was replacing Alien Encounter.

Stitch did replace Alien Encounter. Prior to AE closing, CoP was on seasonal status. It basically only opened during extremely heavy crowds (like Christmas and Easter, maybe a few days in the summer). When they closed AE, they opened CoP back up. The assumption has been that when Stitch opens CoP will go back to seasonal status. I believe someone posted on these boards and confirmed that CoP would actually be closing for a refurb at that time.

We'll be arriving 11/6 and had already planned morning of 11/7 in MK. So this is exciting news.

Have never had opportunity for an AP preview. Do you simply show AP and enter the show or do they set specific show times and you come for those set times?
