Can anyone tell me what kind of a ride this is going to be? I am going to disney sarting Aug 30 to Sept 17. Is there a soft opening?

i'm not sure the exact scope of the ride but i believe it will be similar to the ride it is replacing (alien encounter) but not as "scary"

as to when... well, i read on the boards today that it is behind schedule and looking at late fall... which means us september people are most likely out of luck

How do you get the vacation countdown im your box?

Go to the tech board and there is probably is post at the top about how to get the countdown.

for a counter in your sig, there are instruction in the techie folder (if i remember correctly)... i am technologically challenged and i was able to figure it out! (the first time trying too!)

so, where on long island are you from?

frann... if i am understanding the initials correctly, you are where i grew up... the gibson section... such a small world...

It looks like were out of luck as well. I read on here today that a cm told a poster it wouldn't open till late Oct. early Nov.

I'm bummed this ride won't be open as well. I'm also sad that It's A Small World won't be open for my then 13 month old to enjoy. Guess we'll all have to go back again soon!
