Abby was at the zoo yesterday for a field trip. We bought a membership this year so I plan on taking a lot of trips to the zoo this year.

My niece just started working at the zoo this week. She is in security which is funny b/c she is 16 and couldn't hurt a fly.

My friend, Jen, is a dolphin trainer there, but she is on maternity leave so you wouldn't have seen her if you went to the dolphin show.

Was it crowded? I bet it is going to be packed on Saturday with the 80 degree weather we are supposed to get!

I have this desire to go to the zoo now. I haven't been to one since middle school, unless you count AK, but that is "not a zoo." (Though I do love the tiger exhibit in Asia, and given a choice I'd pick AK over a zoo any day.)

Carolyn - Hi! Let me know if you make the pork roast & like it. It is a little sweeter tasting BBQ, but pretty good. We have a great BBQ place by us so I'm spoiled and I always say nothing compares.

Did you see the monster monkey?? Glad it was empty though - it wasnt too empty when we were there.,...not CROWDED - but not empty. You know, I think Disney in September (and before that was end of October and early November) has truly spoiled me to any crowds, at all - what so ever. I get antsy now if there are just a smidge of people.

Hi girls! How was everyone's weekend?

Angel - Yay for Disneyworld! When are you going?

Xena & Angel - Congrats on the exercise results! It is rainy & gloomy here today so I went to run on my treadmill and it didn't go very well. I hurt my back somehow. No idea how, but it hurts. I made 1.6 miles and it started to hurt really bad and had to stop. BOO HOO! I hope it is fine by tomorrow.

DH made a good dinner though. Steaks, zuchinni, and coconut shrimp. YUM!

Somewhat low carb, right?

We're going in September but not the same time as Cat. I dare not share too much more info than that for fear of freakazoids! LOL!

Hi girls. It has been a very busy weekend and week. I'm leaving in the morning for Vegas and I have been trying to get me and DH ready to go and also get the kids ready to stay home, clean laundry, food for their lunches and all that good stuff. I know I won't be able to tell you about my trip, you know what happens in Vegas and all that....but I'll *see* ya when I get back!

Back from Vegas! I had fun, but not lucky in the gambling this time. My favorite day was on Sunday we rented the cabana at our hotel and spent the entire day by the pool. It was great!
