OMG! The lady from Eddie Z's just called me and asked why we are not going ahead with our order. UGH! I wish I didn't answer the phone. I told her she is crazy with that price. So, she is going to send me a new quote and scale back the window treatments. Whatever........ This new quote will probably be $4,000 and I'll still laugh at her. I hope she doesn't egg my house.

Greek Spaghetti sauce? Why is it Greek? I never heard of that. Sure, send it my way. I hate jar spaghetti sauce so I wait for my Mom to make hers (Italian) and freeze it. I asked her for her recipe and there is no recipe. It is all taste, she says. Whatever........

I was researching cruises. The problem is I can't find affordable airfare so it ends up being as much as an all inclusive when a cruise isn't all inclusive. KWIM? I've only been on a cruise once and it wasn't a great experience. We hit really bad weather the last day and everyone on the ship got sick. They were putting barf bags all along the ship. Not fun at all.

The Greek sauce is taste too - but I can still tell you what's in it. Ummm.... get 2 BIG cans of Contadina Tomato Sauce, a can of chicken broth, a couple chicken breasts (on the bone) some garlic (just a little) salt, pepper and....cinnamon, lots and lots and lots of it (thats what makes it 'greek') - put it all in the crock pot and let it cook until it's done. (a few hours)

Then before you serve the spaghetti - brown some butter in a pan, and pour it over the spaghetti before you scoop it out.

Thats all.

I am scared to go on a cruise for fear of kiechka-ing.

I forgot an important step....

The chicken breasts (with bone is best) should be browned in butter until the skin on them is nice and brown and crispy - then tossed in the crock pot.

Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort. It is not luxury by any means, but it gets really good reviews for a 3 star family resort (on tripadvisor). The 3 of us can go for $2,000, 7 nights, direct flights. I have a feeling this price is not going to last b/c it is on apple for that price, but all other websites, it is closer to $4000. I think DH wants to go to a luxury resort in Mexico still. We'll see.

As long as we are talking about artists I'll just get it out there that she just isn't my type! Actually I just found out there is something good about her when I went to my kids talent show on Friday: She is the only artist that a 10 year old can do and it sounds just like her!

I liked PINK when she was more soul-ish....more R&B sounding. And I realize they wanted her to sound like that, but she was more of what she is today...but doesnt matter. I liked her better then.

I dont like Country. I dont like (what I call) Brat Rock (i.e. Blink 182, Fallout Boys, etc). I dont like 'alternative' (do they still call it that?) I like some Pop. I wish Chicago had a GOOD 70's/80's/90's station. Jack FM is okay - but it's just that - okay.

I like TPain an awful lot. It's disturbing to me. But I think that comes from danny having won tickets to one of those summer concerts (the B Bash) and so then I picked up tickets for Joey and one friend - and I took them. Of allllll the artists there (Rhianna - whom I do like, a lot, too - Ciara - Akon - Gym Class Heroes - Ne Yo - some others AND Hillary Duff.... I felt bad for her. No one wanted her up there) so of allll these artists - he REALLY put on a show and REALLY got into it and just really worked a crowd well.

Yes! I love travelzoo. This is all I do at work all day long. My dates are anywhere from 3/26 - 4/7, 7 nights, please.

My needs are:

1.) direct flights
2.) under $3,000 for the 3 of us
3.) all inclusive

Atlantis in the Bahamas is way too expensive plus it is not all inclusive. A lady from my work went and said for the price, not worth it.

I put in Dominican Republic, Punta Cana. Did not find anything affordable. When you see $969 per person, that is not the final price. It ends up about $400 w/ taxes & fees. Plus, sometimes the child will be more than the adult once you click through to the end. Makes no sense to me that a child would be more.
