Yes - thanks YoMomma. Im still paranoid. I think Im gonna wait it out.
XENA - I had a 6th grade sewing project. It was to be a quilt pillow. We were allowed to pick out a pattern fabric, and a solid.... then in 9 squares:
#
It would go
pattern / solid / pattern
solid / pattern / solid
pattern / solid / pattern
So - I went with my mom, and got a BRIGHT obnoxious yellow, and found Mickey and friends fabric. And it was their faces, on white.... so I cut each square with their face in the middle. (Mickey was the middle square) And instead of a froo-froo lace around it - I picked just a real plan simple white one. Sounds cute right?
Keeping in mind, this was to be a creative class and I was ELEVEN - the teacher was TICKED!!! MADDDDD!!! I was supposed to pick a pattern. I did pick a pattern!!!

No, I didnt - she said. A pattern all over, like flowers, or paisley.
That thing was so cute - I still have it too, and stuck it in both the boys cribs, when they were babies. It was perfect.
I barely got a passing grade on it because I didnt follow directions.

I came home crying.

And if Im not mistaken, my mom may have called and went ape-poop on the teacher to get me my barely passing grade.
