Cat, the tents make me go too. There was a time I enjoyed camping, I much prefer a comfy warm bed nowadays. (FTR, the teepee we could have rented had cots in it and a cement floor. )


I just love this corny stuff, I should start a thread on it. DH and I went to Niagara Falls a few months after we got married and I insisted we eat at the Flying Saucer:

He still shakes his head when I mention this one. FTR, the food was really good, we went for breakfast, and it was CHEAP too!

You know right outside WDW - on I Drive - there was this 'home of the future' (I think it was called Xanadu??) If Im not mistaken, the shell of it is still there - but I toured that thing when I was little, with my mom.

Thanks the date went great. We ended up seeing each other on Saturday night during my friends 80s birthday party. I so looked the part of a tacky 80s hair dresser..

Good morning girls!

Thanks for the b-day wishes! We didn't do much. We went out to eat on Sat night, that's about it. Sunday, my actual b-day, I never got out of my PJ's. I'm entitled, right?

I got a big honkin fruit basket from my Mom and sister. It is HUGE! It might be coming to work with me this week. DH and Abby made me breakfast no gifts. Apparently, DH was under the impression the jacket I bought after X-mas was my b-day gift to myself. Whatever.......

I brought in bagels to work today and some of my friends from work are taking me to lunch tomorrow. So, I guess I'm still celebrating.

So, what did you all do this weekend?

Ward - I'd prefer luxury over roughing it.

Ward ~ It makes me go But I have been getting more and more spoiled recently. About 10 years ago I probably would have gone at the chance to stay some place like that. I think the Boardwalk has ruined me!

Hey I was noticing something this morning. I haven't had a chance to read the CB yet, so it is probably being talked about already. I turned on ABC for a few minutes before I left for work and I noticed that the Epcot Fireworks music is their network inauguration music. Not sure I like that.

Me too! This has been a cold winter. We had icy roads this morning too, but enough for late start. It is only 31 right now. I'm dreaming of sunshine and palm trees.

I'm a little bored today too. I worked hard in the morning and got most things done on my desk and now I'm sort of just waiting for lunch. We are all going out to celebrate a birthday so I'm excited for a good lunch. We have a new place in town called Blazing Onion. Is that a chain? Do you have it?

Anyway, I'm going to lunch soon, but when I get back let's think of a good topic so you won't be so stagnant!

I'm thinking warm and sunny too! I'm oh so close to booking Mexico for spring break. I sent a request to a travel agent today b/c I want a direct flight which is bumping my price up $800.

My co-workers took me to lunch today for my b-day. We went to Corner Bakery. It was soooo good!

Im wondering what's gonna happen with Girl Scout Cookie orders with this recall mess.

Danny gets most of his protein from Peanut Butter. He's not a big meat eater. I hope this is straightened out soon.

I wonder if .... you know how you can get real, fresh made peanut butter at WHole Foods? Like you make it yourself? It's peanuts in a machine that grind before your eyes? I wonder if it's a peanut problem?? Hmmm.... Maybe Ill head over there, tonight.

Then I can pick up another of my favorite toothbrush. Im about due for one, and theyre the only place that has them. Theyre so WONDERFUL!

Yum! I had a great lunch. Steak dip sandwich and salad.

My house goes on the market later today. We have to sign everything when I get home from work. I'm going to freak when the sign actually goes in my yard. I can't believe we are doing this! It is just an attempt to move into a much nicer house, so if it doesn't work we will just stay put and let it go. I told DH I'm offering it up to God and let Him take it from there. If we aren't supposed to move, the house won't sell. Then the element broke on the oven and I said "Maybe God wants us to think about replacing the oven for the buyer." And my husband said "Maybe it's a sign from God to get the heck out of this house!" (He wouldn't let me replace the oven, just a new element.)

I'm hoping all these great interest rates are making business boom for Breezy and her DH! I know my mortgage friend has a flood of people wanting to refinance right now. Happy thoughts to Breezy!
