What is it with people. Hey, at least you had a contractor that showed up - that's about 75% of the battle 95% of the time

(sorry if anyone has contractor friends of hubbies - we've just had some really bad experiences with this both personally and professionally)

So the siding guy bangs on the door and he's like I notice you have a big hole right here on the front of the house thats missing siding but I don't see anything about it in the report. I'm like it should be thats the main big one we wanted fixed where someone hit it with a weedwacker. He's like hmm well is there any siding in the house anywhere and I'm like no. So he says he'll have to take another piece of it off to take with him to see if he can find some that matches it because it is slightly different than the siding on the side of the house.



Whatever dude, just fix it!

Hello there a big 7 x7 hole in the siding. Don't you think that would be one of the pieces that we are trying to get fixed????

So, Im on Facebook - and this guy from Junior High asked to be my friend, and Ive been talking to him.

I cant believe he remembers me, I remember his name, but that is it. I mean - 25 years ago! We're discussing the bullies from Jr High right now. It's been enlightening. I cant believe what us 'kids' had to put up with.

Flooding is kinda normal here. We usually get one a year or maybe every other year. But they are predicting the water to go 10 feet higher than flood stage and to be record flooding in town here. Other cities have more or less than we do, it just depends on where the levees break, etc. We had a ton of snow in December and now warm weather from Hawaii. (I wish it was really that warm!)

Some businesses close and others don't. If just depends on where the owners/employees are coming from and if they can get there usually. We live on a hill so we don't flood, but most of the ways off the hill could flood this time. One way is already and the 2nd way could be by the time I get off. That would leave basically leaving town and returning on a highway that has an off/on ramp part way up the hill to my house. Kind of out of my way, but it would work. It is seriously lots of water!

They really dont go anywhere with me.

Joey is 17, I rarely 'hang out' with him - and Danny is 13 and generally just needs rides places, and so he's in the front seat.

Something to look forward to, Jordan will be 13 on 7/4. Ok so for now I still just drop that one off here and there and everywhere. But he is 5'7-8"ish, it just might be funny trying to see him get out of the back of a 2-door car.

And - them being older - theyre on their own getting out. I get out, pop the seat and walk away from the car.

That's what I do. But I just open my door and walk away.

Have you guys seen the scrubbing bubbles brand toilet cleaner that you stamp into your toilet just under the rim? One little stamp and it cleans the bowl for some crazy amount of flushes? I cannot say enoug about them! I love them! only like $2-$3, I got mine at Wal-Mart and I love it! It makes the whole bathroom just smell clean all the time!

Hmm...I might have to try this. I have to smelly boys.

The second restaurant is a favorite of ours: Todo Mexico. It has a picture of the front and then the typed info. Then under the typed info it has another picture of it and it looks like it is hanging out over the river. I posted this just because of that picture. If they start showing flood pictures of Snohomish that will be the building they show. So now go look at the pictures!
