Xena is one of those people that the police and officials yell at, cuz they go site seeing when the roads are all flooded!!!!

Then you see the aerial view of them, hanging on to tree branches as their car floats away!!!!

Then they interview them, after they've been rescued and they act like they didnt know. They only thought it was a few inches - even though every radio and TV report has been saying stay off the roads.

Maybe Ill post my ring pics today. I got mine in EPCOT, in the Italy Pavilion. I was like this when I saw this big glass bowl on the counter, with allllllll these *rainbow's* of color, in glass.

I was digging in that bowl forever!!! Trying them on. Theyre just fun.

So, when I had to come up with something for Jimmy's nieces (he's the youngest of nine, did I tell you guys that?) I thought those would be fun. Hence why you guys got some too.

Theyre just fun. Nothing fancy.

Breezy should get hers tomorrow.

This is exactly what was going through my head when I realized there was water over the road. I had been down that same road on my lunch break because it is a great spot to view the river and it had a tiny bit of water at the very end. So when we got down there at night and the sign said "Road closed, water over road" I didn't believe it was that bad! I am totally one of those kind of people! But seriously, it is a tradition in town. When it floods you can meet all you friends and neighbors on first street looking at the river!

I didn't know the rings were from Epcot! Very special!

No, no, no..... The idea is from EPCOT.

I got mine from EPCOT. And when I had to come up with something for the nieces, I knew that manufacturer's name.

So, theyre EPCOT, by proxy - sort of.

Cat ~ that reminds me of a hotel check-in story but with the opposite ending. We were driving to Disneyland from here and it is about 24 hours drive time, so we decided to drive straight through and maximize our Disney time. I had called to book a room at the Disneyland resort with our DVC points and I chose the Grand Californian which we had never stayed at before. Andrew was still under 2 yrs so I asked if there were any rooms with a small fridge because I wanted to keep some milk on hand for him. They said they had this nice room with a kitchenette in it. I thought great! I'll take it.

The ride down was bad! We completely underestimated how hard it would be on us to drive that much and on the kids to try to sleep sitting in the car. Also we got a flat tire at 2:00 AM in a place called Weed, CA. If you can find it on a map I'd be shocked! We had to wait for their one gas station to open at 7:00 and sell us a couple tires................the drive was bad!

When we got near the hotel I felt like I was going to cry I was so wiped out and I felt so dirty and messy. So we pull up to the gate at the hotel and they ask our name. We give it to them and people on walky talkys start saying our name and ushering us to the front door. When we pull up they ask us to get out and follow them, touch no luggage. We go to the front desk and they have us checked in almost, we just had to sign something. They take us right to the room. Apparently I booked one of the if not the best room in the place. The escort said "Here are your robes and slippers Mr. and Mrs. _______". "It is currently wine and cheese hour in the concierge lounge if you would enjoy a glass of wine." "The children's bedtime story with milk and cookies will be at 7:00" etc, etc, etc.............. We were just like "What? This is the best!" We felt like we had died and gone to heaven!

The funny thing is when he was like 2 or 3 Taco Bell had a mexican pizza, and when I would say cheese & chicken quesadilla the people would look at me strange. I knew what the kid wanted.

Our Pizza Hut has taco pizza, its so yummy!! Chico's has the best taco pizza.
