DH has been watching a lot of HGTV lately and they have already painted 2 rooms today that were red.

Well, DH is making a mess! Two out of the four walls are paneling. We painted over them originally b/c it looked fine with the light gray / bluish color in there. He put up the new color (khaki brown) and it doesn't look so good. Goodbye paneling, hello more drywall! It will look a lot better once it is done, but now there is a big old mess.

So, we need to go out and get a dining room table & we want one of those big old cabinets that close up the computer and stuff so the dining room can double as the dining room & office. Anyone know where I can get one of those big old cabinets? I prefer a dark color wood like a cherry or even black. I do not like light wood.

Now we cant get our surround sound for the DVD to work. Danny & Jimmy are flashlighting and attempting to fix, but why do I feel like Im going to need to climb on under there, and figure it out.

I am soooooo sore from painting and I am nowhere near done. I still have the master and the game room. I'd love to have the whole house done but I don't feel like doing it LOL! Yeah, we're very fortunate in this area that our home prices are still reasonable. This is a 4 bedroom +bonus room+office with a formal dining/living, an eat in kitchen, den, 2.5 bath, 2 car garage and it cost us $210,000. If we had bought the same house where were in FL, it would have been $450,000. We're turning one of the bedrooms into a workout room. We have the Wii fit in there, free weights, and the recumbant bike! It's like my own little home gym! I love it. I have no idea what color to paint it though. I like that bright orange that someone posted earlier.


Cat - I heard Eagle Eye is really good. The Dark Knight is awesome! I don't know how to do anything helpful LOL! I call those blue jobs in our house. DH calls sewing, cooking, laundry etc, pink jobs. It works for us! LOL!

Hey girls! Happy Saturday. 2 more days and I'm back at work. I'm really dreading it. It has been soooo nice being off and paid to be off! I've been super lazy though so I guess it will be good to get out and back in a routine.

Angel - I'm glad I'm making you tired of our home improvement projects, but I seriously do nothing. DH does it all. You are way better than me!

Jordan - I'm seriously contemplating selling my Wii Fit. Too bad you live on the other side of the country! I don't like it and don't use it anymore. I was under the impression it was a work out and I don't feel like it is. I never get my heart rate up. I think it is OK to play, but not what I thought it was. Guitar Hero is working now. We had to do some sort of update. I haven't played yet. DH played and said it was kind of hard. I've been obsessed with playing Mario Kart!

Cat - How were your movies? Wall E - didn't care for it too much. DH fell asleep and I found myself not paying attention to it too much. I'm thinking I liked I Am Legend better. Both were better than Tale of Despereaux though. I liked Bolt A LOT better than all of them put together.

My Saturday is going to consist of cleaning up around here. Our house is a mess! Finishing up on the pukey laundry. DD is feeling fine today. She had a 101 fever last night, but seems to be fine this morning. Fingers crossed no one else gets it!

We have a baptism tomorrow. I'm debating going b/c there are going to be a lot of kids there and I don't want anyone getting sick from us. Good excuse, huh.

We have hardwood and we really like it. It kinda grosses me out how 'fuzzy' the floor gets everyday, though. But I like that we can swiffer that all up. Even though we vacummed, I cant believe how dusty the floor gets in one day.

Baptism - I wouldnt go. Im a serious germaphobe. When I was XMas shopping I was seriously mad at people who would be next to me then **hack hack sniffle sniffle**. I realize they had to shop too, but I was like .

I think I might be slightly OCD with hand washing, too. I have to go use the bathroom a few times, if Im at a few stores. I cant stand the way my hands feel, and I envision them like those glass slides they show on TV with germies crawling all over them. You should see me at WDW. Every bathroom we pass "I gotta wash my hands"

SO no baptism. Unless you wear little masks and gloves.

We watched Eagle Eye - Good! We started to watch House Bunny, and Jim has a habit of whining about how 'late it is' when it's a movie he doesnt wanna watch. I enjoyed the Tale of Despereaux. It was no Bolt but it was cute.

Hmmmmmm quaint.....as long as its not country I guess thats ok. All the paintings are french. I really wish the walls were either sage green or chocolate brown. Maybe when I get done with all the other painting. Its tiny cause its just a little half bath. I finished all the trim in the master, now the walls just need to be rolled. Then I can start the game room.
