What is everyone doing today? We are having a pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving meal with some friends who are going to Hawaii on Thanksgiving day and we wanted them to have a turkey dinner. I have to go clean house and start cooking so I'll probably have to check in with you girls tomorrow. Have a good Sunday!

We were tile shopping today. We went to 5 different stores. I'm pooped.

Our fireplace. Our fireplace is/was so ugly. It had a lot of wood all around it. DH took all the wood down and put up drywall. So, we are going to put tile around the fireplace and then there is a ledge by the floor. The fireplace does not sit on the floor, but there is a ledge that comes out so that is going to be all tile too.

It's a real pain in the butt, but needed to be done b/c we bought a big old TV that we want to hang on the wall above the fireplace. We couldn't do that with the wood. The wood was also on that ledge so that's also why we need to tile.

I'll send some pics when it is done.

Sounds like your fireplace is going to be very nice. Did you take 'before' pictures too?



I tried to put the pics on my computer but my SD drive stopped working. This was a HORRIBLE time for it to stop working too since we are going to WDW in 10 days. I'm going to go to the store this weekend and get one of those usb/sd drives.

Just looked at my friend's pictures from Chicago. Looks like she had fun. Her DD saw the Cheetah Girls. I guess that was a big hit.

The pics will be awhile. Especially with Vegas coming up. Not sure if he will finish by then. He still has to prime the wall, paint, then do the tile. He only has the weekends to work on it and we seem to have stuff going on every weekend!!!!! I will post them if he ever finishes!!!!

Did they do Michigan Avenue? The Mag Mile parade was last weekend. We didn't go. It was too cold for my blood. Mickey was there though.
