I don't think there is any way possible to get my kids to swim with the sting rays after the death of Steve Erwin. Has anyone else had this problem. I am up for suggestions, tips, anything.

Thank You!! :confused3

the only advice I can give you is that their barbs have been removed. the poor guys have gotten a bad rap from the incident. it's no different than swimming with a manatee.

Barbs are removed, they are well fed, they are tame and they are the softest thing to touch ! I have always been terrified of them in the ocean, but at DC they were the most interesting of all and I not only touched in the touch pool, but snorkeled right up to the giant ones in the reef ! If I can do it, they can :thumbsup2
