Stimulus Check

What is everyone going to do with theirs.

I'll go first. I'm sending it to pay extra on my mortgage principal.

Not very sexy but, practical.

We haven't gotten our yet but....DH is retiring next year and we are taking a 2+ month cross country auto trip. We've been saving our entire lives towards this trip and the check will be included.

$1500 to DH and my savings account. $150 to both of the kids savings accounts. Just need to run to the bank today to do this, as we received it in the checking today.

I just checked our bank account on line, and I am happy to report that I was economically stimulated today! Some of our money will be used to pay for the kid's summer camp, and the balance will pay for a late summer getaway to Williamsburg.

Am I right as a married couple we get 1200, and then 300 additional for each child?

If so, I'm taking my half, and my daughters $$$ and going to Disney in September.

same here. LOL. Georgetown College's economy will be stimulated. Not mine.

I'm using mine as a "cushion" while I switch banks and move all my direct debit bills over to the new account. Once everything is switched over and running smoothly, then that cushion will be used to pay off almost the rest of my CC bill.

I'm so exciting!

buying new mattress set for us and ds' then rest going towards new mexico trip over memorial day as well as season passes to local amusement park for summer

DH's 1/2 is going towards bills. My $600 is going towards a car/private driver for 9 hours one day in Italy that will take us to Pompeii, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. We are going on the Adventures By Disney Viva Italia trip but it does not go to the coast/Pompeii-so we are flying in early to see that area. Ever since I was about 8 I have wanted to see Pompeii! I remember reading my Dad's National Geographics and being fascinated with Pompeii. The carr/driver is 360 Euro for 9 hours and that is $557 dollars today.
