So what about Lilo? Do you think people would recognize my daughter if she was dressed as Lilo? DH and I could wear aloha shirts and be nani and david.

Or, DD has an incredibles outfit, she could be violet and brush her hair over her eyes. But what could we be? Sorry, but we are not putting on those tight incredible costumes, I wouldn't do that to the other patrons, haha

I really liked the dumbo idea, but DH said he wasn't going to be Timothy Mouse and he still wants to be a pirate. I told him there are tons of pirates and he said,well, it's the easiest that's why. Ugh!!

I think Lilo would be super cute! If she wears an aloha dress and a lei, she would look great.

Something you could do to enforce the theme would be to get a Stitch doll for her to carry. I did that when DD was Max from "Where the Wild Things Are." Everyone thought she was just a wolf or a cat, but I got her a Wild Thing doll, and then they totally got it.

What about just an Incredibles logo t shirt and eye mask?
I do think people will know she's Lilo, especially if she wears the red dress with the large white leaf pattern, and I like the other poster's idea of carrying a Stitch doll to help solidify who she's going as.

We are dressing up as the Incredibles but we aren't doing the tight pants. It was an easy costume and it fits our family, well other than Violet being blonde.

I enjoy seeing families dress up as a group and I think your idea is great. I absolutely love Halloween and usually create three or four costumes for various events each year including MNSSHP.

I dressed up as Lilo last year (I worked at an elementary school). I had Stitch pinned to my skirt, and most kids asked who I was...
I think it is a great idea, just be prepared to explain !)

Particularly given your location, I think Lilo would be adorable! Someone should carry a Stitch plushie.

If you choose the Incredibles, maybe you could be Edna? Hard to pull off but black is so flattering! I don't know your husband's physique but if you pieced together a shirt/pants combination that looked like Mr. Incredible's blue outfit, that could be funny. Not sure if your husband would be so amused though.

I agree, if you do your DD as Lilo you should definitely have a stuffed Stitch.
For the Incredibles, just do the tee shirts and eye masks, you can just wear jeans that way.
