Still watching....

Is anyone still watching the shows they thought would be favorites at the beginning of the season?

I'd like to know which ones you found disappointing and thrown out of the mix, and which ones are you still watching?

Thrown out:

Bones, Medium, Supernatural, PrisonBreak.

Bones and supernatural were over-hyped, once I found out the formula, it bored me.

Prison Break has become very predictable, and I am jaded from how awesome OZ was in the prison drama category.

Medium is just getting "meh", boooring.

Still watching:

Apprentice this season, Psychic detectives, Real world (though i don't know why....), Parko P.I. (same night as Psychic detectives),Invasion (borderline lame), I can't think of others right now, I will update soon.

I am still looking forward to more of Bones. I really enjoy this show. I loved NBC's Inconceivable but since it's gone I guess there weren't many of us out there that did. I am about to give up on Invasion, though. I am still waiting to "Get It"

I'm not sure about Close To Home. It's OK, but not great.

I have decided that Rome is a keeper though.

I threw out Commander in Chief after 2 episodes. Completely overdramatic - I just couldn't handle it anymore. And I really wanted it to be good!!!

I'm still watching: AFV, How I Met Your Mother, Two and Half Men, According to Jim, Amazing Race, Survivor, Boston Legal......I've thrown out Desperate Housewives and Lost. I can't remember to watch DH and Lost is getting to be too much work.....I'd watch supernanny if i could find it..............

When I first heard about this show, I thought I would watch it. But it's on against "House" and I absolutely love that show. But with baseball on Fox, I thought I'd try it Watched a bit last week and it didn't do it for me. Too bad.

Yep. Absolutely NOTHING can trump "House". Best show in forever.

I'm still watching all of them, Bones is on the cusp of being thrown out, it's off for October due to baseball so I will give it a few more episodes when it returns before I officially toss it. I really like Supernatural though.

I watch lots of tv, the only new ones that I have added this year are Surface, Invasion, Supernatural, and Ghost Whisperer, I really like them all, but it did take a couple of weeks to really get into Surface, it was a slow start, but I like it.

I tried Threshold, Commander in Chief, and E-Ring, but thought they were all fairly awful.

Invasion and Surface are starting to annoy me I'll give them a chance but am on the verge of tossing them. Martha Stewart Apprentice is on the verge too...just not as good as the original Apprentice.

The only new shows that I watch are My Name is Earl(hysterical), Ghost Whisperer(I love anything that has to do with Ghosts) and Martha Stewart's Apprentice(I adore Martha).

I watched one episode of Invasion but it just didn't intrigue me enough to keep watching. Oh there was another alien type show I checked out but I didn't care for that either.

I'm still hanging on to Bones because I won't give up on David Boreanaz that easily! The trouble is that I don't really like his costar all that much.

I'm still watching Invasion too but it is awfully slow-moving. I like the storyline though and the stars are pretty good so I'll give it some more time.

I did watch a few episodes of Supernatural and it was only OK so I don't make a point of watching it.

Reunion (yes, I actually have found myself liking that one against all odds!)

Those are all I really watch. I am actually disappointed with the lineup this season. I watch about 1-2 shows a night on average. But I have found that I love Ghost Whisperer. That is the only real new one (besides Reunion and My Name is Earl) on my list.

The ones that I have never understood people's fascination with are Lost and House. I can't seem to get into those no matter how hard I try.

Without a doubt, my favorite "New" show is Prison Break. We are totally hooked on it. I'm still watching Bones which has gotten a bit better over the past few weeks.

Another newish show I try not to miss is Dirty Jobs. If you can get past the EWWWW factor, the host is pure eye candy and the story lines are fascinating. Who knew there were 10 pounds of milk in every one pound of colby cheese.

From last year, House leads the list here and once January gets here we'll have 24 and AI added to the list.

BTW, I'm still missing any sort of Star Trek offering. I can't believe it's totally off the air.
