Still waiting for closing

We bought 220 VB points and sent our payment to the title company 2 wks ago today. I havn't heard back from them and they were to email me when closing is complete . We did put some of the pmt on a credit card and I was told that may hold up the process by a few days. I was also told that it would then be about 2 wks before MS enters us into the system.
I remember reading somewhere on this board, that some people have had luck calling MS and getting them to enter them into the system.
If this is the case, what info would I need to have when talking to MS???
I am really keen to make our first ressie, and want to get the ball rolling ASAP.

I don't think you can call MS and get them to enter you into the system. However, you can call and check if you are in the system. You will be in the before you are formally told about it. Go ahead and call. Oh, and email your closing company and ask for an update.

I did email on Fri afternoon and they got back to me and told me that everything will be sent to the title company by Monday. So closing should be Tuesday. So maybe I'll call MS on Friday (28th) to see if I'm in the system.
What does everyone think??

We closed on our SSR add-on last Friday, were in the system by mid-week this week, and our points were there yesterday, which I then used to make our spring break reservation (and was able to book a studio at BCV at less than 7 months out!)

So paulhill, based on our recent experience I would expect you to be in the system by Friday if you close Tuesday, just don't count on your points being there yet.
