I've been waiting for someone else to post this, but no one has so I guess I'll have to do it.

Do the jungle cruise skippers still tell the Alligator jokes?

If you don't watch your child the alligators will
Ginger snaps
They are always looking for a hand out

I'm just curious is the tragedy affected the Jungle Cruise.

They have temporarily, at least, stop telling that joke. The exact wording is lined up with the location of the boat at the time and they were... Watch your children... or the Crocodiles will. I know that they basically look alike, but, they aren't. Still a good idea to stop it for awhile.

I went on the JC two days ago, the skipper changes the focus of people completely to the other side of the boat, something line
Pay attention to the left side of the boat, sometimes we see natives there
No mention to ginger or smiley

I had read that they had stopped telling them too, but my brother and SIL were on the JC last Saturday and reported that their skipper had told the "hand out" version. They were kind of surprised to hear it. Maybe their skipper didn't get the memo.

Just rode today & they did the usual "ginger snaps" joke.

They made different jokes the 2 times we rode it yesterday. Pretty funny, too.

I'm pretty sure they only cut the joke related to the crocodile watching your children if you don't. The other jokes are probably still used.
