Congratulations!!! We, too, were shocked that we were having twins. I cried for days. Looking back, I think how foolish I was. Having twins is so much fun! DH and I are thinking about trying again and we both agree that if we only have one we'll be a little disappointed.

Twins are great. Mine are 5 and heading off to Kindergarden next year. The time sure flies. They are best of friends.

Congratulations!

Like so many other posters, I'm also a twin mom. My boys are just about 7 months old and I'm still in disbelief. I don't know if there will ever be a day when I don't look at them in wonder. They are just amazing.

They are more wonderful than I ever could have imagined. People keep on saying "double trouble" but now we counter with, "No, double the fun." When they laugh and smile at us, we know how incredibly lucky we are. My husband keeps on saying how much better it is when there are two babies smiling and giggling back at us.

I still remember the day we found out we were expecting twins. We just returned from a wonderful Disney trip and brought our daughter with us to the ultrasound. We told her during Wishes that her wish for a baby had come true-- she was so happy and excited.

I saw two heads on the screen and thought it must be a shadow. The technician stops the ultrasound, turns the screen away, and starts asking me questions-- so I'm totally freaked out... She finally tells me I'm having twins!

It's tough in the beginning, but it definitely gets better real quick.

Even Disney with them at 5.5 months was great. We just took it easy and spent more time stopping to smell the roses and look for hidden mickey's.
