Still in shock!

So 4 weeks ago to the date DH and i find out we are expecting. Couldn't be happier Today I go for my first dr's appt. And since i had minor spotting last week the Dr. wanted to do an ultrasound. Well on the ultrasound screen there are two sacks with two heartbeats. I'm having TWINS!!!! i don't believe it. I told my parents and my mom called everyone in the free world to let them know. They were sitting at my house on their cell phones calling everyone. I think there were 4 phones going at once! I was nervous about one baby...now 2!!!!!!!

Wow double the love!!! At least its your first (and second) you won't know any different. That's so exciting. I can't imagine how much fun it will be to watch your children grow up together.

Congratulations! That's so exciting!

As a fellow mom of twins, believe me when I say, twins are so much FUN! My beautiful baby girls will celebrate their first birthday this Thursday (yes, Thanksgiving!). This first year has just flown by... and we've had a blast.

My best advice on twins... try to keep them on the same schedule (sleeping, eating). Otherwise you won't get any sleep!

Congratulations! Once I finally got to 12 weeks, and didn't have to worry about vanishing twin syndrome, my pregancy was just as normal as my singletons - not a day of bedrest! I did deliver a little early due to hypertension, but they were regulation size and very healthy! Mine are 5, and best friends.

CONGRATULATIONS! How exciting. I also have twins, they are 4 now. Like another mom said, keep them on the same schedule. Also start the schedule from the get go. I know it is difficult with 2, but just get into the habit. If one baby is crying for a bottle and the other is asleep, as soon as baby one is fed, then pick up baby two and feed her as well. I didn't do that at first, and I was very sleep deprived to begin with. Once I figured out that trick, it was smooth sailing! ENJOY! They really are such a blessing.

Congrats! As a mom of twins (Disney Souviners) as well, I can promise you that you are in for more fun than you ever thought possible. I suggest you get in with a good twin support group (even now, during the pregnancy). You could even find support from message boards for twin parents.
