Maraena, you did a great job breaking down my last chapter, and I appreciate all your comments. But if I try to breakdown all of your breakdowns, I'd probably have a breakdown. By the way, still think Smidgy is "demure and innocent?"
"There's a calm surrender, to the rush of day, when the heat of a rolling wind, can't be turned away,,,,,,,,,,,,,"
Hey, I had a great time breaking it down. I had a down day (as in less than busy) so I got to thoroughly enjoy and reply to your report. Plus, I got to get the funneh stuff in before everyone else did for a change.
Of course I still think Smidgy is demure and innocent! So am I! It takes a true lady to know when to turn on the charm and when to open a can of whoop...you can finish that one. I've got a feeling that Smidgy is just that kind of person. My guess she has to be to live with you!
Much love in that statement, by the way. You two seem like great folks. You and I have one thing in common. No, I'm not left handed. I used to be amphibious but my parents kept putting things in my right hand. But my normal temperature is about 97.5. If I'm at 98.6, then I have a fever, and can't stop shaking.
I, too, was 'amphibious'. Then I broke my right arm right at the age when I was learning to write. I still have about equal strength in both hands but have a strong left-hand dominance. I broke my left wrist 2 months after my right arm and didn't switch back. I'm sure you would've never guessed it, but I was a very 'willful' child.
My mom kept trying to get me to be right-handed but I refused. The temperature thing has always been interesting, particularly since I'm bad about going to the doctor regularly. Typically, I go when I'm sick and, with the exception of the doctors I had as a child and teen that my mother chose, I often like to go to a new one each time. So, when I go in and I have a temperature of 99.5 or maybe even 100, they tell me how I have a slight fever. Depending on how badly I feel and/or the likelihood of me getting a shot, I may or may not tell them that the temp is unusually high.
Anyhow, ya'll have a lovely Thanksgiving. Not sure if Chicago is getting the snow yet, but it's been coming down here most of the morning. Sure wish the weather could've stayed in the 70's like the previous two days, but I guess I have to tolerate at least one more cold winter before I move south.

You captured my very real fear of karoake too - my voice being recorded for posterity and then posted all over youtube and the like for people to make fun of and remember me as. Not only would I be subjected to taunts by my coworkers and colleagues, but nothing I ever did afterwards would have any merit beyond my rendition of 'I'm a Little Tea Pot'.

Mr Steve!!!
