Okay we have less than 30 days to go until we leave for Disney. There are 4 of us our boys are 8 and 9. I have looked at all the different ticket options and am thinking the 5 day plus 4 option will work for us. We will be there 8 nights but are going to Universal for two days. Then I got to thinking..... If the parks close early the boys will want to do Disney Quest and that gets expensive to visit more than once, if I spend that type of money on admission we are gonna plan to be there a long time. So now I am thinking about the UPH. Has anyone split their stay to use these tickets? If we are going to be at Universal there isn't much point in pay for Disney admission on those days as well. But if we made two nights of our reservation seperate from the rest and just bought the UHP for the 6 night stay. Do you think we would have to switch rooms? Will they allow something like this? Thanks for any input!

Yes, you can do two separate reservations and only get a UPH on one of them.


To avoid having to change rooms, fax the room assigner at your resort 4 days before you go. Tell them you have "continuing reservations" and include both confirmation numbers as well as arrival and departure dates for both reservations. Request being assigned the same room for both reservations.


I would wait until checkin at the resort to buy my UPH's. You can get more flexibility that way. If you add UPH's to one of your room reservations from CRO/WDTC, you will have to get it for arrival day, departure day, and all days in between. If you get it at checkin at your resort, you can drop either the first or last day without paying for it.
