I'm doing mypoints, milesource, blink, and howhot

It looks like only mypoints and blink give webcerts. (correct?)

I have asked a few times (called toll free disney travel) how to pay part of my on site AS Mu room with webcerts, and nobody has a clue. I've even been told its not accepted as payment.

Can anyone tell me specifically how to use these to pay? Do I call/write/pay online? I did not book ressies on line.

Also, on a side note, should I bother with searchcactus?

Can't answer your question about using webcert as payment. Someone will know the answer.

About searchcactus. Yes, searchcactus is a royal pain. It can be very cantankerous, but I usuallly do it while doing other programs so I try not to notice how hard it can sometimes be to find the eyes. I can tell you that they do pay promptly according to their payout schedule and that their checks are always good.

Simply because they pay in cash that you can use however you like, makes the program worth it for me.

First off, I would recomend searchcactus if you have time to fit it in. You make .40 a day plus 25% of your referals. They allow 4 accounts per household. I have three of my family members signed up under me, so just by them doing their accounts each day, I make .30 off of them.

With a webcertificate, don't tell them that it is a webcertificate, because if they aren't on the net as much as we are they don't have a clue what you are talking about. Just tell them that it is a mastercard and give them your account number, exp date etc. If they start questioning what "kind" of mastercard it is, tell them it is a debit card. They do take it for payment. I am using dreams unlimited, and they let me use the online form to pay on my room, but it is still charged by disney.

Yes, you need to buy the plastic Mastercard to put your webcertificate on. I'm not sure if WDW takes Mastercard as a prepayment, but you can always reserve the CC for your hotel payment and pay when you get there.

I know when I use my visa for a deposit at WDW, I fax my credit card # and exp date. Can I do the same with this web cert? Or is the number not good enough?
TIA!:)

You cannot use the WebCert itself. Only specific companies accept WebCerts and those are listed on the the WebCert website. You need to purchase the plastic Mastercard (for about $6 I think) and then your WebCert balance will be available on the MC as a debit card. I suspect that you can write to Disney with the number off of your WebCert Mastercard and Disney will deduct the specified amount from your balance.

Just write the account # you see on the web and the expiration date they list and it should be accepted.

Check Mastercard as form of payment.

Wow. You learn something new every day. Please let us know if that works.

I am about to see if a webcert without a plastic card will work with Disney. I have a deposit on a room due before tomorrow. I could use my conventional CC and pay for it but I have that amount open on my webcert and would like to use it for hehehehe one free night. I did points programs for the 125.00 I have in there. I will let you all know what happens. When I called the other day they said no I couldnt UNLESS I faxed them an auth to do it BUT my ressie confirmation says its DUE by Sunday the 17th so I shall find out. I will post what happens.

I called and they said they did not need a deposit just a cc to hold the room. I explained my situation with the webcert and she said if I had a plastic card I could charge part of it on one card and part on another at check in if I like. UGH. Now I have to try and order a plastic card and hope it gets here before we leave in July. I might just use the card and get Disney Dollars at the Disney store and use that.

Just open up your webcertificate account on-line.

Write that number on your Disney confirmation sheet, write the expiration on the confirmation sheet, click Mastercard and write the dollar amount you want deducted.

Sign the sheet where indicated.

Then fax or mail the confirmation sheet back to Disney CRO.

I've done this several times and it has always come through!

I agree, use it just like a mastercard. If anyone asks anything specific about it, all you have to say it is a debit card. When making down payments or other things over the computer or phone, they don't need to see the card, just tell them the numbers. Also, if you are going to use the full amount that is in the account to pay on or pay off your hotel bill, I see no reason to waste the $6 to buy the plastic card unless you are going to refill it again later on.
