I know alot of people have been asking the questions about transfers but I think I am more confused then ever. :confused3 :confused3

I have red t shirts. What is the difference between the light and dark transfers? What do i need? Does it depend on the shirt color or what your transfering? Will an iron be enough? Will it have white all around it? I dont have a lot of extra money to go through a lot of trials so any advice would be great.

I want to transfer a black Mickey Head with the white cruise ship hat on him. The name in the middle is in yellow. THANKS RUMBLYTUMBLY I LOVE THEM.

For red shirts, you want to use dark transfers. Yes, there will be a white box around it (unless you make the background red).

If you use light transfers, then the white on the design will be red (the shirt color).

So simply, use dark transfers!

You can *carefully* cut around the image so that no or very little white shows. Then your design will have a more finished look than slapping a square or rectangle on a shirt. Those always look home made to me. You can practice on plain paper if you want. Your transfer paper won't be a whole lot thicker. Just lay the plain paper printout on your shirt and you will know what it's going to look like finished.

THank you everyone back to AC MOORE I go. I picked up a t shirt transfer but i dont think it is for dark. I hope they will let me exchange.

Woo hoo I cant wait to try .:cool1:
