Stich's Great Escape Gone already?

Just to show that Disney does listen to what it's guests think....this comes from the mouseplanet.com update for the week:

"One rumor being heard more and more is that the Stitch's Great Escape attraction will go down for a complete overhaul early next year, in a fashion similar to Alien Encounter, the ride that it replaced."

I have yet to try this ride...will be this week. However, from what I have seen on here it's not something to rave about...hopefully this rumor is true and we will have an updated Alien Encounter soon.

Well, it wouldn't surprise me. It was pretty bad and the smell of the chili dog was disgusting and made me rather ill. The moment it hit my nostrils and I caught a whiff I had to stop inhaling for fear of vomiting. That said, the AA Stitch was pretty cool, there just wasn't enough to the ride to make it interesting to me.

Also, the queue system they have for this ride is horrendous. I had a fastpass and was still bored to tears as we spent like 15 minutes in the holding pen outside the doors, waiting for them to open. You just stand there doing nothing but staring at the doors for what feels like forever, and the people in the standby lines are right next to you, shifting their weight and checking their watches as their lines doesn't even inch forward. It's just very poorly designed.

the ride was very lame. It needed to go down. More like steam rollered and start from scratch. Why did they replace alien encounter, that ride was one of my favorate.

Oh Please....make it go away! That "ride" is horrible and stupid. There was nothing to it. What a waste of money. Hopefully they will bring it down sooner so that more people don't waste their time.
