Steve Irwin died!

Eh. I never really liked his shows that much anyways.

Wow, I'm amazed that he died. I mean he was an extremely well trained man in dealing with these animals, but I guess all it takes is one wrong move...

It's so sad to see someone with a wife and small kids die so early. He still had so much life left to live. At least he died instantly, doing what he loved. His family is in my prayers.

 RIP Steve Irwin!

You can't imagine how much people are talking about this around campus.
I swear, I heard twenty conversations in the dining center, and almost every has an 'RIP Crocidile Hunter' written on their dry-erase boards on their doors.
My roommate said her bio professor even made a slideshow tribute to him.

It's really sad, and I send prayers and pixie dust to his family. RIP!

Can't you atleast admit that it's sad. It doesn't matter whether you liked the show or not he died in a tradgic accident and his children no longer have a daddy. Steve was a great guy despite your tv prefrences.

I was shocked when I found out-I still am. He left a legacy and he will be missed. I'll keep his family and friends in my prayers!

He once said "If I am remembered at all for anything, I want to be remembered for conservation"

Steve had a passion and a love for animals. A love for them that was so strong, that he ended up giving his life to educate people about them. He saved thousands and opened doors for other zoologists to follow in his footsteps.

Steve was a great man, and what he did will live on in the hearts of people forever. Don't remember him for his family. don't remember him for his shows. Remember him for his undying love for all living things.

I almost cried when I heard about His death. I'm still kind of waiting for someone on CNN to just be like "Suprise! Steve is just fine!" BUt at least he didn' die of anything lame like old age, I'm sure this is the way he would want to go. There will never be anyone quite like him again. May his memory live on forever.

Well said! Honestly Bellhop! A man DIED! Fine, you didn't like his shows. . .Sure he was setting himself up for it sooner or later. But that doesn't change the fact that it was a tragedy! He fought for animals, He loved his work and took risks for it! If anything feel sorry for the family and the animals that won't have his influence or his love on earth again! :sad1:

This bothered me. This statement totally destories everything he did. Saying that his love for animals is gone is like saying his memory is. And its not. His love for animals lives on in everyone he ever touched or ever taught something to. His love for every living creature lives on in the lives of thousands of people all over the world. He made a difference.

Sorry if I disturbed you! lol. . .What I meant was they will never experience him personally again. . .I know that he left a legacy I was just trying to make a point.
