Sterling silver earrings for sensative earrings

My DD has sensative ears, what type of earrings should I try? I am thinking about sterling silver, they also have some that are nickle free. Any thoughts or ideas as she would love some silver type or white gold (these are very pricey right now) earrings. TIA

Also a big recommendation for Simply Whispers. Their earrings are pretty much all I wear. I can wear 14k gold one day, but not 2 days in a row without my ears itching. Same for sterling. Simply Whispers earrings are great!
