We left on May 11th out of of Philadelphia around 1:00 PM. We all got to hang out of the chairman perferred area since my Dad was a member there. Plus, being chairman perferred got us all free upgrades into first class (gotta love it!) :thumbsup2 . Since I hate flying I drank myself to sleep off Seagrams and Sprite. Only a two hour flight and we landed in Orlando. Rented a Dodge Magnum for the week that only cost $135 total. On our way to the resort found a really good shortcut that got us to the crossroads in under 20 minutes. Ate Jungle Jims for lunch/dinner. The place looks so much better at night, too cheesy in the afternoon. Ordered a burger because basically half the menu consists of burgers or chicken. After that drove the property and we came across our hotel: WL. Never stayed here before so I was assuming it was a great to stay off of reviews I have read. Pulled into valet and the place looked spectacular. We had concierge so there was no waiting at the front desk, we go straight to the 7th floor. Got in our room and had some food at the lounge. My dad wanted swimming trunks so we went to the store downstairs. Of course they only have one kind and they are all size small. Well, lets go over to Polynesian. With a car ride over we made in two minutes. Its great how close it is. We got his trunks and we sat on the beach for 45 minutes. This is by far my favorite spot to relax. We went back to WL to check out the area. Got a blue bird at the pool bar and walked to to villas. The villa pool is a lot quieter than the the WL one. We went back to the room and called it a day. I brought along the movie hostel since we had a DVD player in out room. Very grusome movie. Any scary movie buffs will like this. After that went to sleep.

For Tomorrow: planning on going to AK in the morning and Epcot at for EMH evening. Stay tuned for the pictures. Right now I am uploading them onto webshots.

Great pics! Spent last 20 minutes looking - awesome view!! Sounds like a great way to start your trip - drink by the pool :thumbsup2

Anxiously waiting for more!

ok....Day 2...... Not enough sleep from last. Parents snore very loud when there are asleep. Got up around 8:15. I wanted to be at the front gates of AK at 9:00, but this wasn't going to happen. We decided to take our rental to the AK parking lot instead of the buses. Throughout the the whole trip we drove inside of using on-site transportation. The rental was a faster way to go and it saved time. Got to AK, ride.......of course.....we all know its going to EE. Got the fastpasses and got in line. Ok, not a bad start for waiting...only ten minutes. Had the front seat and it was great. I love the theming of the ride and overall one of the best at the world. An hour wait for the fastpass to kick in. We head head over to Dinosaur. No wait time. For some reason I felt like the ride had become more jerky than ever before. Walked back to EE. My dad didn't feel like riding and I was pretty much fine with it. No big deal, cause I knew I would be back here again and I didn't want to ride this myself. Off to the safari ride....oh great an hour wait. And it was an hour. All the animals were out except the lion. Our driver was kinda boring. She didn't seem to excited about being there. Maybe it was because of her 1,015th trip.

My family and I weren't really big on live shows in the parks, so we skipped lion king. Headed on over to ITBAB 3-D. Always a fun show. Ooooo.that bee sting hurt my back!

It was about 1:00 we we decided to head on other to Epcot and spend the rest of the night there. Got in our car and made our way to the beach club. We decided to park there and take the back exit in. Once inside we made a right and stopped in France. My parents wanted to eat at the nice restaurant there and I didn't. I told them I would meet in Japan. Before Japan and I stopped and got a casa lager from Morocco. Pretty good. LET THE DRINKING COMMENCE! :yay: :bounce:

As I'm righting this my friend just called and wants to go to Atlantic City. More on the way tomorrow, so stay in touch. Stepman checking out.

Excellent start ~ Fantastic piccies.

Sorry for that week long delay on this report. ok, lets start this again. After drinking the casa lager in three minutes, decided to get something to eat since my parents were eating in France. Went into the counter service restaurant on top of the hill in Japan. Ordered the chicken teriakyi( I can't spell), and a glass of Kirin Beer. Hmmmmm....good beer. :cool1: After that I wanted some more to drink in Japan and wanted to drink at the lounge. Went upstairs and the lounge was full. They seated me in the kitchen area next to the dining area. Ehhhh....I'll get something to eat here too. Ordered a Mt. Fuji (girly drink) and a glass of blue mountain sake at the same time. Never had sake before so I was very anxious. Pretty good sake, lets get another one. The glasses were two shots in one, but I made it a sipper. Order the fried octopus. Yummy :thumbsup2 !!!!!!! I was feeling pretty good after the second sake, paid the bill and grabbed a cig :smokin: . Met up with my parents in Morocco since they were sitting down in France for 15 minutes and no one came up to them. Sat down with them while they were eating at Marakesh. Very quiet place, Next time I visit I want to come here.

Walked over to Germany and ordered bratwurst and beer. Doing the reverse drink around the worlds. :drinking1 In Italy, tried a peroni beer at one of the counter stands. :drinking: In china, A chinese beer and two egg rolls. They don't say on the menu what kind of beer it is, just "Chinese Beer". Walked around the shops and went to Norway where we rode the Malstrom. Yes!!!!!!!!!! The doors opens when we got off the boat, perfect timing! Went to Mexico and ordered my last drink for a while, of course, Margarhita. :drinking1

After drinking a ton it was around 5:30. It was EMH tonight here so we did some of the future world rides. Spaceship Earth was first, oh yeah, time to relax :cool2: . Next up, the amatuer move of the day. Wait stand-by for Soarin. The board said 50 minutes, lets wait this one at. :crowded: . The line was very long and some kid in the front of us was farting the entire time. It was so bad we waited until people cut in front of us to get away from this kid. Finally, the ride. Great as usual, the music is starting to become my fav. For a late dinner we ate at the Electric Umbrella. Had the chicken fingers. Walked around some more and then tried to find a spot for illuminations. Never saw this show in the 12 years that I have been coming so I wanted to see this. We started at the entrance to Mexico for a spot and there was nothing. We took a right and walked toward Canada for viewing it. Then....a spot with no one in it? The perfect spot? If anyone saw illuminations during the flower and garden show, the perfect spot was in between the stands selling garden items. No one was there and no one told us to get out. Saw the show and it was great. After that walked into the pub at UK and had the bass ale draft. Walked out of the park and was very tired. Got our car and got back to the WL. Past right out on my bed. Thank you bed :worship:

For tomorrow: Morning at MGM, and nighttime at Magic Kingdom along with the man who got stuck on Tom Sawyer Island after dusk

How did you get from Mexico to Canada so fast? Sorry I thought it was a long winding walk from Test Track area, is it a short distance? I can't remember.

Great photos and a very good report .

I just love that view coming out the top of SpM.
