Stephanie and Shawn's Planning Journal: SOG: 5/10/2008: Update- back from cruise

So decided to start one of these... Yay!!! So I suppose I'll start with the engagement. Shawn proposed over my Spring Break while we were at Disneyland Paris (amazing, definitely go if you ever get the chace). He gave me the most gorgeous Eiffel Tower ring ever.

I gave him 5 rings I liked and this is the one he chose, saying the ring goes with where we fell in love (we had gone to Paris over Christmas time). He's so sweet and the best thing ever. I will graduate with my BS in history from USF on May 3rd and then we will be married May 10. I'm so happy and excited!!!

We are getting married at Shades of Green outside the Gazeebo. http://www.shadesofgreen.orgI am very excited. We also have booked our photographer... Scoobie (I always start singing the Scoobie Doo Song, lol). http://www.scoobiephoto.com He is amazing... We got the platinum package so I can have 2 photographers. I am an avid scrapbooker.

Awe, thanks... I would have loved to have a DFTW but we just couldnt afford it for the 150 people we invited (and thats without half our families there and invited). Maybe for a vow renewal after he's retired from the military, lol. I love my ring too... its a little high set, but I've gotten used to it... Congrats on your weding!!!!

So the other day I decided to go with silk flowers. Well they're not silk, they feel real. Amazing quality at Hobby Lobby. This is what I think I will do for my bridesmaid flowers.

I think they will look great against my apple red bridesmaid dresses.

I did these myself! I was so proud. I didn't design the monogram, but I finally figured something out in Publisher! YAY!!! My water bottle labels for my OOT Packages, I may try to put 5 on a page cuz I have room

So I bought a dress off ebay, still waiting on it. Then went to David's today and fell in love with these:

Well, I had been looking for backup dresses last week after I hadn't heard from the ebay person I ordered the original from... But I got the dress today and LOVE it... I guess it was worth it.... I lost weight since ordering (the custom to your measurements) but I'm happy, it turned out better than expected.

So Shawn's leave is over... and I won't see him until December now. But here is a couple pics from while he was here from our swim with the dolphins in the Bahamas... How come when guys come home on leave they don't shave? hehe.

While he was stateside we did so much wedding stuff, picked out tuxes from Men's Warehouse, chose a cake, booked our wedding planner and so much. And now I am so freaking lonely I could scream. Anyways. I'm sure I'll have more to say soon.
