Day 1-cont...
So excited to be on the ME. FInally after what feels like forever, we get to the GF. MOL AND SOL are staying at the Contemporary, so we tell them to go check in and then meet us back at the hotel. We get off the bus and there is a women standing there waiting for us. Since we are concierge they personally take us in. Our room was not ready at the time but they took us upstairs. I have never stayed concierge and was so excited to be in the main building at the GF. I give the bellhop my dress and our bags and tell him to guard the dress with his life. I was so nervous to leave it, i had it with me the whole way. We tipped well to make sure that dress was taken care of!!! I love walking into the GF, its just so beautiful. So we take the elevator to the 4th floor and the doors open and all i see is food!!!
i had known this already but still was so exciting to see. I forgot to take pics-sorry but it is nice. So the CM sits us down and starts talking to us about the room not being ready but will be soon. She tells us the room is beautiful and great view blah blah blah. I don't really remember much of what else she said, i just wanted to get to the parks!! lol So we walk downstairs once the CM is done talking to us. I want to see the gingerbread house of course. They told us that they would call us once the room was ready, so we just hung out at the hotel. Also I wanted to see fellow disbride claire since I knew she was coming to the GF at 2.
We sit down in the front of the GF and then a limo pulls up. I knew it was claire. I was so excited! She gets out and she looked beautiful! SHe recognized me right away and gave me a big hug! She then had to run of course and we said goodbye.
We then went to the back of the hotel for a smoke break and MOL and SIL come to meet us. They are all checked in. Tom decides to see what is up with our room. He was gone a real long time. At this point the BM, his wife and son come to meet us at the GF. they just arrived. So BM tells me something happened and tom is taking care of it. The nosy person I am wants to know. I call Tom and he tells me don't worry I am taking care of it. At this point I need to know so I run upstairs and meet him with the CM. Turns out the room they gave us was the worse room possible. It faced a smoking terrace and the other building. Anyone who was smoking would be able to see into our room!! we also did not have a balcony which is important to us. Tom worked his magic and we got a great room with a view of the Wedding Pavillion, monorail and lake!

So we go to our room and thank g-d my dress is there. We then all went to the MK. I was waiting for my MOH to call and tell me she arrived. We had dinner ressies at Tony's for 6:15. So we walked around for a bit and got our fast passes for space mountain. At this time MOH called me to tell me she was at the entrance to the park! I was so excited to see her and her husband who is also a very good friend of mine. We then went in for dinner. The food was HORRIBLE. The sauce was gross and we will never go back there. We are NY'ers and are use to homemade sauce (DH and MOH DH are italian) so it was def a disappointment but not a surprise. After dinner we went to monster's inc. laugh floor. I am wearing my bride ears and as soon as i sit down, there I am up on the screen! After Monster, Inc. we walk aroung, go on some rides and then it is time for wishes.

After wishes BM and his family left. So me, DH, MOH and her husband stayed. We went on pirates, thunder mt, and space mt. MOH's husband was so psyched we did not have to wait online for space mt due to fast pass. It was of course AWESOME! At this time it is about 2:30 am, so we all head back to the hotel since we have breakfast at ohana's the next morning at 10 am.
Up next day 2-ohana's, more friends arrive and NYE at hollywood studios!!!

You look gorgeous in that teaser pic!! It's wonderful that things went so well and that you liked Joe (I can't wait to see your pics). I totally agree with your reviews of Ken and Jen! And I'm soo happy for you that things went as smoothly as they did thanks to them.
